The 10 people who will buy this are going to love it during the warranty period.

Okay, being able to maneuver the trailer around remotely was the coolest part!

I'll never buy one but I appreciate "The future is now old man" amount of tech. It's like something I would've read about in Popular Science or Popular Mechanics 20 years ago while waiting at the dentist.

Very cool tech but man is that pricey, who is this for, retired Wall Street bankers on their way to Florida?

@MX5-XU 5 days ago

Still quite strange to see such a large and long trailer only having a single axle.

Thanks for covering this trailer. I will say, the closeness of the fairing to the truck really is a bummer on opening the tailgate.

Would love to see this tested with the lightning!

Seems to be incredibly clever in most every way. Crafty design.

That tech on a cargo trailer to where it could power or recharge tools would be great

Interesting. Absolutely out of my reach but very interesting.

I actually expected it to help a lot more, both in uphill and downhill towing. I had assumed it would remove most of the pulling or pushing that the tow vehicle normally feels, so it would feel like you’re towing a much lighter trailer, like 1000-2000lbs. Instead, they went REALLY conservative and only add 6kw of drag downhill until you apply the brakes (and that’s in the special recharge mode, otherwise it sounds like they only regen when you apply the brakes). Uphill, the boost mode was helping more, but again that was a special mode. Doesn’t seem like much for the price delta over a regular camping trailer.

I feel this is a paid advertisement

Am I the only one that thinks it's crazy for this to be a single axle trailer? Seems sketchy. I'd hate to see what happens when you lose a tire with a trailer that long.

Let's spend an extra $80,000 to gain 1.5 more mpg.... don't get me wrong, it's super sweet but all that tech scares me. Sometimes having a mechanical item is more repairable and easier to problem solve. Solving mechanical problems is way easier than solving a software issue while on the road.

I love the idea.

It’ll be a while before we see something like this at an affordable price for most of us.

The Jetsons meet IKEA, very cool trailer/camper. Excelent Video Pebble Flow TFLTruck!

We all going to ignore the shot of that glorious V8 truck fly by as they are climbing that grade. That V8 with a trailer was ripping up that mountain lol

@richardjohnson8009 5 days ago (edited)

They should make a smaller model that can be used by smaller vehicles that normally wouldnt tow a trailer. **Wow 170 thousand for this

@captsam54 4 days ago

Single axle trailers are dead.... Ever to try to back one up, OR change a flat when the rim is on the pavement??? (This long time RV tech says NO..!!! )
