Oh hey so just a quick correction, or I guess clarification on my part, my intention was not to say that the resignation incident is a "re-take" of 06/06/2006, the script actually had to be rewritten because at first I thought that the resignation incident predated it. The intention was just to show how despite the two stories similarities they garnered vastly different reactions because of how they both chose to handle the concept of a Nick hijacking, thanks for watching as always :)

the black and white spongebob at the end but it's "my wife left me"

Okay but the payoff of the resignation incident not being some horrific death and just being "and then he got a small fine and put on probation 😱😱😱" is incredible and I appreciate the restraint.

The fucking "See you in hell Stephen Hillenburg" elicited one of the greatest "Yikes" from me I've had in quite a while.

"You have turned art into a monument of greed." Will forever be a hard asf line for a creepypasta remake.

If I ever meet Tom Kenny, I want him to read out the black and white Spongebob rant in his Spongebob voice.

Bro tf did I do

“The DIY almost ‘punk’ way that they’re created”
YES! I’ve been waiting for people to say this! The older web, especially in the ‘90s and ‘2000s felt very alternative and counterculture. Back in the days where you would create your own custom website with HTML and completely customize your YouTube profile. Something about the individualistic, shoddy, clearly amateur writing style and subject matter of all of these old creepy pastas is always a delight to me! It’s pure old internet nostalgia, just a bunch of young adults and kids trying to spook each other by telling scary stories based on horror media of the past. “Punk” is a good way of thinking of it!

I feel like creepypasta writers dont understand how long a frame is. Its quite literally 1/30th of a second, if not 1/24th. The amount of detail they try to stuff into a single frame in their stories is always the most immersion shattering thing to me. "AND THEN THE SCREEN GLITCHED FOR A SINGLE FRAME AND THE ENTIRETY OF THE BEE MOVIE PLAYED IN REVERSE"

It's a bit funny how a Sponegbob creepypasta that was so hated by its creator became one of the most well-known creepypastas in recent history.

I see it as a bizarro version of Sonic.exe.

I liked how mozzarellastick made it from just one employee to a group of employees, who were overworked, underpaid, and were tired of being used by nick, so instead of unionizing, they decided to ruin their biggest event in a form of a petty "F you" to the company, exposing their secrets to the world.

I love the resignation incident because it isn't caused by some other world deity or ghost, but instead just some peeved off ex-employee that hated nick, so he basically pulled a "I've come to make an announcement" on them

Why did you murdered me stephen?

The virgin 6/06/2006 vs The Chad Resignation Incident

Edit: I know Resignation Incident isn't very good but c'mon at least it doesn't portray Stephen Hillenberg negatively

2:47 me when I can’t think of anything to draw;

those who analog 2:09

Reading this title is like “which one?”

9:16 I really like that version. Not as a horror thing but just as a 0 context image. I’d have it on a mug and take it into meetings at work.

6:43 I started CACKLING because this reminded me of the "piss on the moon" announcement from Snapcube. Also because it's someone bitching with a cute Spongebob just chillin

LawfawndaPasta's creepypasta is reminiscent of the Captain Midnight hijacking incident, which followed a similar story of an ex-employee hijacking a television broadcast signal out of revenge
