In tonight's addition of mind numbing drivel from like 3 people's favourite slop maker supreme, we delve deep into the confines of a game, within a forum within a game, how whimsical!!

In Dylan's defense, surely he didn't expect something otherworldly to ACTUALLY happen right? Ooooh, just a spooky urban legend, haha we pranked you so good- where did he go.

one thing that has to be noticed is that it says on the newspaper that Jamey is Kyle's brother

@nithia0999 9 months ago

One rather dark thought I have is that Jamie and Dylan killed Kyle in the forest and Dylan later "confessed" that it was Jamie who did it. It would explain where a lot of the bitterness comes from. Jamie did make a passing reference to being in jail and could have very easily lied about the reason.

"Hometown"
"Field of Dreams"
"Darker than dark"
It's some king of....reference....

It might just be the "fake old game oooo" element but this reminds me in some ways of Basilisk 2000, another one of my favorite indie horror games from recent years

Love that there's no real villain in this except MAYBE the thing that spirited kyle away. Like, at the time, they were dumb kids doing dumb kids things and what they thought was a dumb game to spook kyle created a scenario not even the adults in their lives had an explanation for. It'd be really easy to pin it on dylan, but no. They didn't even really imply who found the ritual in the first place. Just two guys, one thats still struggling with the tragedy, and one that seemingly moved on so completely that the struggler feels abandoned.

19:15 Theory: they did the ‘game’, and Kyle tried to reach out but got spirited away at that exact moment, chopping his arm since it wasn’t inside the blanket.

Thank you for playing our game! This was an awesome video, really made my day!! I couldn't have done it without Squp, she rocks

2:25 As an adult working full-time with multiple responsibilities and creative projects, if I stopped every video to one day play the subject of the video, I would never be able to finish one. I wish I had enough free time for regular gaming, I really do! But alas. YouTube content is how I vicariously live through others to keep experiencing video games. 😢

walking backwards into the temple reminds me of the Dril quote "i will face god and walk backwards into hell"

some random thoughts i had: it's interesting that there's a lot of pin/needle symbolism regarding the gorgon/kyle's death, and the weapon your character uses is actually a pin, maybe jamey deliberately set it up that way
also it seems to me like animation fan is actually just jamey on an alt account leaving hints for dylan in the form of random posts from a user who seems like a moron to the other forum users

I thought we'd been over this, Tedorate: I don't play horror games. I only watch other people play/discuss them.

the ending of the snack scene saying snack completed as opposed to snack defeated is a subtle nod to the fact that parmos are disgusting and the simple act of consuming one sets your life down a horrible path.

Btw here's (I think, there wasn't a list) every word in "Dr. Spider's Biweekly Brain Blast!": rotation, refraction, pressure, spirit, vector, combust, level, science, lens, physics, raygun, annihilation, laser. Miscellaneous words: leer/reel, ouch, ohno, woes, your, larp, anon, site, Peru, isitcute.

15:23 such a great bit of flavour text, gives the same feeling as "something wicked this way comes", both very foreboding but vague warnings that are not used nearly as much in games as they should be.

the next video better be more festive and holly jolly than this 😡 grrr i am steaming mad grrrr

if i had a nickel for every time feverdream johnny was involved in a game revolving around the absence of an arm, i'd have two nickels. probably more if i were thorough in looking!

I appreciate you making videos like this. When I was younger, I used to play games like this or look into args myself. But as I’ve gotten older, it’s become harder to do as my disabilities have worsened. I have a pretty bad case of brain fog and chronic pain. Reading for more than an hour is quite hard, let alone using my hands. Creators like you make it so I can still enjoy horror like I used to.
