Gatekeeping a lost pre-school show pilot is peak Redditor behavior

i still cant get over the fact that they not only gatekept me and my friends but they actively sabotaged the search for it like holy unemployed final boss 😭✌️

How tf could someone go full Gollum over a pilot episode where a penguin has to wait for an arts and crafts project to finish drying

The irony is that this entire pilot was about Pablo learning to be patient over glue drying.

It is incredibly how the smallest amount of power can still go to someone's head. Like, dude, it's a pilot to a kids' show lmao

I really do appreciate how frequently you emphasize in the video that “this is literally a pre-school show pilot”

Unironically the backyardigans pilot was more protected than so many U.S. documents

The fact that it was someone with a Shaggy avatar that discovered the leads that blew apart the lies is hysterical…those immature wikidorks would’ve gotten away with it to if it weren’t for that meddling kid!

I'm sorry, but the thumbnail of "LIES, HOARDING, MISINFORMATION" next to a freaking Backyardigans character has me wheezing

This is why the term "locked media" is needed.
There's so many instances of lost media that we know technically isn't lost, but is being hoarded by some dipshit for only god knows why.

Calling oneself "A Backyardigans Oracle" is certainly a title of all time for sure

LSSQ is so right, why couldn't the admins just ignore the search team? they really reached a whole new level of delusion with the entire conspiracy they made up

The pilot dropping had to have been the mods 9/11 moment

this is completely unironically like a really good psychological example of how even the tiniest amount of power can go to someone's head

You never want to mess with an adult that is a fan of a preschool show. They always demonstrate that they are some of the most unhinged people on the internet

"The search for me and my friends"
Oh no I hope you find them Jorge

There's a spectrum to these lost media searches: it seems to range from "Media so obscure even we don't know it actually exists" to "the drama behind this lost media we know exists, is more insane than the media itself"

It's seriously disheartening how common the latter is

that plot twist that the wiki admins all had a copy was WILD

This whole situation is quite possibly the funniest thing to ever come out of the lost media community. Because this isn’t something that anyone would even remotely need to cover up, it’s not a government document, it’s not illegal, and it’s not something that would ruin anybody’s career or reputation. It’s the pilot to the fucking Backyardigans. And the fact that a group of people tried so hard for almost a decade to keep this hidden is hysterical to me.
