"Man, I sure am excited to see Ragatha and Pomni's talk!" I said with excitement.

They were then offscreened 57 times.

I genuinely hate how little the show cared about Ragatha's character. She gets so little screen time.

Kinger and Caine not having a conversation still ticks me off it's the best way of wrapping up both of their characters.

For me, the show fell apart when I said, wait a minute, it's been 20 years, and in all that time not one person noticed Kinger was lucid in the dark? You mean to tell me that Caine didn't have one nighttime adventure, or trip to a dark cave before episode 3? Furthermore, Ragatha didnt spend ANY time with him in his pillow fort and find out he was lucid when it was just the two of them for years? Come the fuck on!

i think the trans foreshadowing could have been a lot better if jax was put in a normal dress instead of a maid dress. it would have made his over reaction make more sense because he would have been mad over normal clothes instead of something that is used pretty exclusively to sexualize people. plus the fandom culture around joking about femboys in maid uniforms + all the merch around it just made it fell more like a joke than something to be looked into

If I said Gummigoo had a better character arc and development in one episode than over half the characters got in nine-

Jax, the poor man's bojack

The best character in the show being gummigoo is so fucking funny to me

justice for ragatha they hate my girl fr

I never understood the “finding peace in a stagnant life” aspect in the finale cuz the WHOLE SERIES they either hate the adventures around them or want to go home. They only stop feeling this way just cuz pomni says to abandon the idea of leaving. They don’t really “find peace” there’s just literally no other option and pomni said to abandon it so they just automatically do

btw just cuz gangle blushed does NOT mean she liked when jax came onto her and abusers often use bodily functions as control tactics over their victims as a way to make them think they secretly liked it. which is not true. for example if someone tickles me and i laugh but ask them to stop me laughing because of being tickled does not mean i actually enjoyed it.

I hate HATEE how SOME tadc fans feel the need to constantly defend the show from any type of criticism and act like anyone sharing their criticism for the show are these evil bad people who hate on the show for no reason. I know that this is a common problem in a lot of fandoms and that most of them are children who genuinely believe that any and all criticism toward the show is hate (I mean.. I was one of those kids back then) but its still pretty frustrating to see that these fans have developed such a parasocial relationship with the creator to the point that they'll bash people for calling out the problems that said show has

Being black and queer in any fandom: she knew they was gonna play in her face but did it anyway

Gooseworx saying that she didn't want to have "more filler" shows how green she is as a showrunner because filler is good for exactly what this show struggles with.

Feels weird that the events of this series is 100% ALL Scratch’s fault since he’s the only reason why the brain scans even exist and we never got to explore how this level of fault can impact someone. Like imagine we got a flashback episode to see how Scratch reacted to basically sentencing his entire crew to infinite hell and giving us an actual characterization. Hell you could have him being a parallel to Jax by having Scratch be slightly in denial or masking his real feelings to shield himself to criticism to give it more importance to the plot

“wow, I can’t wait to see Ribbit who is hinted to be a huge part of why the circus was in the state it was in when Pomni arrived and learn more about how her and Kaufmo’s characters eventually went into abstraction!” Said foolish past me. They only exist for Jax’s narrative and nothing more.

The fucked up thing is that gangle's arc is actually really well written. It's just happening so far in the background because the focus is on Jax that people aren't even noticing. Most people didn't even notice the suicide attempt thing with Zoey

HOT TAKE:

I only really liked Jax when he was just comedic or just a evil prick. I was under the impression in the early episodes that he just cause chaos due to him thinking nothing matters like it’s all just a GAME to him. But when they turned Jax into a “””sympathetic””” traumatic character, it turned off his character to me.

Omg! Goose just confirmed that CAINE was the reason of c&as shutdown! I hope we get some information about it in the finale-
"Oops, all Jax"
Umm.. well, okay.. zooble is an interesting character, maybe after so long of neglecting them, maybe they will get some screentime of theirs-
"Oops, all Jax"
Fine, I'm so curious to learn about Queenie, since she's definitely important to the plot, or maybe even scratch! The one who made the circus! He is 💯 gonna get screentime, or even talk in the finale-
"Oops, all Jax"

"Isn't she lovely?"

If you're referring to Jax, no. I'll never consider an abuser lovely. If you're talking about Pomni? No. I'll never consider an enabler of an abuser lovely either.

Pomni is an enabler of Jax's abusive behavior and I will die on this hill.
