Michael didnt just happen to bump into the podcasters again. He followed them from Judith's grave. Smh. F this video. Folks always quick to criticize but slow to pay attention and think lol

I find the 2018 movie so rewatchable.

Halloween 18’ was an awesome theater experience! It was my birthday weekend, and watching it with my friends was a blast. The whole theater was hyped for this film and the crowd just made the experience 10x better. After the podcaster yelled at Michael and the screen cuts to the intro, the crowd went nuts. The funniest part was the little kid talking about cutting his nasty ass toenails, everyone just bursted out laughing. It was a fun and genuine experience from what I remembered. The only other Halloween film I was able to watch in the theaters was Rob Zombie’s Halloween 2.

In Halloween 2018, I liked the way the daughter downplayed Lori's warnings or teaching but at the end she knew exactly what she was doing(?) Like in Django Unchained when Samuel L Jackson's character fakes being a weak fragile old man until the end.

Great review! The blumhouse trilogy added some unique aspects that we’ve never seen before in the Halloween franchise. it was just poorly executed, what sucks is after 2018 the movies had zero consistency to them.

2018 is my favorite Halloween sequel by a VERY wide margin. The Sartain-in-mask scene did make my stomach drop, but I was cheering when Michael pulped him so it was worth it. And I thought Ray was goofy, funny and lovable, regardless of where the peanut butter ended up.

H18 was the 2nd Halloween film I’ve seen in theaters, I’m old enough to say I’ve seen H20 and H18 when they came out in theaters lol but I love the DGG trilogy, I personally think it’s the most cohesive timeline in the series. The original timeline got fucked up due to Halloween 5 and 6 (which I personally love H6) and then the 2nd timeline got fucked due to Resurrection, not necessarily a big fan of the Zombie movies but I will credit Zombie for saving the series from obscurity despite his H2 being completely out there but the DGG gave us everything you would want from Halloween films, good and consistent masks, arguably the best Michael, some really good kills, good music, arguably the best Laurie and a definitive Michael death. I feel whoever is going to take on the 50th anniversary Halloween film is going to have some big shoes to fill.

It's amazing how all three of the Blumhouse films completely fail to generate any tension, suspense, dread or fear.

7 years bro? You're talking about 7 years?? I saw the OG Halloween in theater😂. Life doesn't slow down for anybody. Enjoy the ride.

Why is Michael so tall in this trilogy? Michael was just an average man in the original film.😂

Hi, just discovered your channel and like it :) random question but do you mix your Blu-ray Discs in with your 4K’s or do you keep your 4K’s seperate from your Blu-rays?

Also do you keep boutique labels together like Arrow, Shout Factory etc or are you not bothered about that?

Trying to decide how to display my slowly growing collection.

I appreciate your well articulated thoughts and respect your opinions. Personally I thought the trilogy was a hot mess that got hotter and messier with each movie. I love that JLC returned but sheesh! I’ve been a huge fan of Halloween since 1981 but these were disappointing. I could go on and on but I’ll leave it at that.

Halloween Ends is the best of the trilogy

hey could you maybe do a video sometime showing your blu and 4K collection? I find those kinda videos interesting and enjoy watching videos like that from other YouTubers like Pizowell, Cody Leach and Sean Chandler

the goat trillogy

I think with the Halloween kills final street fight scene the criticisms are a little odd. The group just dumped everything they had into Michael. And Bracket was going for the an extra shot just for good measure. And yet Michael still got up and slashed his throat. I think you gotta try to put yourself in that crowd. At that point any hope you had of being able to beat Michael was crushed as you just used everything on him just for it not to matter. Half of them were probably frozen in fear and shock before they could even comprehend that Michael was slaying this group. And this is very common when groups lose faith they split up and stop fighting as a group. Overall though good video.

Nice video but some footage from the films would make your video even better so you can show examples of what you are talking about.

Terrible trilogy
