"There is no Easter Bunny. There is no Tooth Fairy. And there is no MEGAMAMIND 2!" - Megamind 1 fans

It doesn't exist. It's our shared hallucination, a bad dream, a nightmare.

“There is no plotline.”
“There is no storybuilding.”
”And there is no good megamind sequel.”

Don't do a sequel if your heart isn't in it, truly.

Megamind 2 literally has them cocomelon graphics 😭

1. Less budget
2. Anybody who worked with the show did not have time
3. It was unexpected even for the writers
4. Writers did not want to write this

The animation doesn't even look fully rendered😭

I'll just pretend that Megamind 2 and the mini series spin-off doesn't exist at all

Megamind fans: I thought you never existed!

Megamind 2: My non-existence was... greately exaggerated...

I'm so glad that the creators of Megamind recognized that there was no need for a sequel and didn't bother to waste their time and energy making one. So glad there was only ever one Megamind movie and that no other Megamind movie ever came into existence and never will.

I'm also so thankful that no one made the mistake of making a sequel to the Last of Us or tried to adapt Avatar the Last Airbender into a feature length film. How awful would that have been, am I right?

There is no war in Ba Sing Se.

Megamind 2 proved that not every movie needed a sequel.

Imagine if Megamind had gone along with Doom syndicate because a.) he enjoys the nostalgia of being bad for a while, b.) they were legitimately his friends at one point and he feels bad about the idea of turning on them, and c.) he hopes to help them discover THEIR good sides. Wait, did I just think of better motivation for his actions in a matter of seconds than the writers did in the entire season?

Megamind 1: Screw the costs; prioritize art.
Megamind 2: Screw the art; prioritize costs.

What if the writers were forced by the higher ups to make a sequel and decided to make it so horrendous that any sane person wouldn't consider it canon

I didn't even know there was a sequel, and I will continue life as if it doesn't exist

“There is no Megamind 2 in Ba Sing Se”- Megamind 1 fans

There is one important thing they lack.
