The reason Ron hates when Hermione does that (Running off before explaining anything) is because in year 2 she did that and she got petrified

“Welcome dear listeners” J said calmly.

What Neville needs right here is a montage. You gotta have a mon-tage.

The fact that this episode was a week off from coming out on the same weekend as Valentine's Day is mildly infuriating.

In the next DADA class Harry raised his hand and asked Professor Umbridge, “Do you remember when you asked me who I thought would like to attack children like us? Well there are ten more people on the loose who would like to attack us.”

The moment that harry grows the most is in the shreaking shack. The movement from wanting to kill Serious to sparing Peter's life is monumental.

Fine day, Sunday. In my opinion, best day of the week. Why is that, Dudley?

The dialogue between Dumbledore and Harry where he makes him realise that he GOT TO is not book 5. It is book 6 after watching the slughorn memory

My assumption is the Gilderoy Lockhart's Guide to Household Pet type of books are probably ghost written. It's mostly about using the Gilderoy Lockhart brand.

Harry clearly never heard about Granger Danger.

42:05 I don’t think he’s afraid for himself. He’s worried about his brother… and what if she finds out about him? Wizards usually kill giants.

Cho "did Cedric mention me?"
Harry "He said 'Tell Cho to date a better person then me, I trust you Harry aka the best person I have ever known to tell Cho that message."

Crazy that the Harry-Cho storyline took this long to start and amounted to having pretty much no affect on anything or anyone at all.

My headcanon is that students used to be able to freely go to Hogsmeade in their free time, changing with Voldemort's first rise. The Permission slips and limited visits stuck around since then.

Obviously the ship name between Bones and Potter is Boner. There's definitely not any other connotations of that word.

Susan Bones comment to Harry is one of the BEST comments in the book. I would imagine a lot of people perspective on Harry changed after this event.

you gotta figure even average hufflepuff 3rd year thinks it's weird that the new government-appointed teacher is then appointed to inspect the other teachers and then starts adding new school rules with GOVERNMENT DECREES! Can you imagine a new teacher at your school posting court orders all over the place?

37:46 if Lee gets his hand cut doing lines, that means that other students besides Harry are using that pen. I get Harry not wanting to mention the pen to anyone, but NO student ever told another teacher about the pen? Or was there nothing any teacher could do about it?

I actually really like the fact that Harry and Cho didn’t work out quite the way he expected. It’s realistic, hallway crushes very rarely end up in a long term relationship, and I also like the detail that Harry has separated Cho into 2 characters - the one in his imagination, and then the real one. When you do this it’s already a sign of it not going in the right direction, and it is incredibly common.
Relationships don’t have to last for them to be valuable.
