Don't worry, the dragon that Hagrid's steak came from had an organ donor card.

**turning the radio down to see better is science. Our brain processes sound faster than it processes what we see, even though we see faster than we hear. Crazy.

Dragon sickness is what Thorin Oakenshield falls prey to in the Hobbit. Dwarves as a whole in Tolkien are deeply connected to the earth: rock, mining, gems, and they highly value the treasures they make from what they mine and hew and so forth. This comes out in their song "Far Over the Misty Mountains Cold."

One thing I always imagined was that Voldemort was using the giants to attack places all over Europe and possibly beyond. Keep the global Wizarding community on their toes with other matters while he focused on taking over Britain

10:39 People used to put cold steak on black eyes because its coolness helped reduce swelling by constricting blood vessels, and its softness allowed it to mold to the eye, but it's an old, unhygienic practice; modern medicine recommends an ice pack or frozen peas wrapped in a cloth, as raw meat carries bacteria that risk infection

When we see what Madame Maxime could do with magic as an half-giant, imagine what Hagrid could have been if he had a proper school career. Voldemort just dodge a bullet in making Hagrid expelled.

I loved that you brought back the "Dumbledore drinking alone joke"😅

I don't have a child but "how would you feel if Addison said that to herself" is my new self talk mantra

The whole fortifying tea conversation is perhaps the most "Carlins not understanding Brits" thing ever

I bet the invisibility cloak grows bigger in size to fit the owner, Harry, and Ron's growth spurt has just made him considerably taller than Harry.

I always felt Hagrid had the potential of being a great teacher. He really needed someone watching him, and poking him in the right direction.

Now, per your discussion...If y'all don't have Hagrid Claus merch out before Xmas 2026...

On the point about Dumbledore not visiting Hagrid, he already has the intel from Madame Maxime since she got back months ago. He probably figured that the trio would want some time with him. I dont think Hagrid would be offended if Dumbledore just came by in the morning.

Oh my dear Carlin brothers Hagrid is 1000% using a tin of loose leaf tea, not tea bags.

I shouldn't have told you that

How many are there!?
36! I counted them myself! 😂

I love the indication that umbrage doesn't have daily conversations with Cornelius fudge to tell him at some point that Hagrid is not working she clearly idolizes Cornelius fudge like Bellatrix idolizes the dark Lord.

Maybe, Harpo the Foul is the reason that the forest of Albania is so cursed, and attracts evil spirits

Don't forget Olivander uses Dragon Heart Strings so there must be some kind of "consumption"

Oh my gosh it is SO SWEET that the way to cheer Ben up is not to appeal to an authority over him that should instill confidence (he'll just put down the authority) but to appeal to his daughter. 🥰 Ben you are awesome

If healing injuries is one use of dragons blood. One potential use of dragons blood could be hardening of skin because of the story of Siegfried the dragons slayer. Who in the story bathed in dragons blood and skin became stronger than steel.
