36:40 What I'm hearing is that James would 100% approve of Ginny 😁

"Give her hell from us, Peeves." Great ending! Makes me smile every time.

about 09:00 through 13:00 - the previous chapter wasn't Snape's worst memory because James and Sirius taunted him. It was because he called Lily a mudblood, severing the last bit of interest Lily had in him.

The way McGonagall absolutely ROASTS Umbridge in this chapter...RESPECT!!! "Potter has been taking classes under a COMPETENT professor." BOOM

I feel like this chapter is the biggest plot hole, So many times where Harry could be reminded of the mirror, and even Sirius doesn't ask "Why the hell didn't you just use my Christmas Present... I've literally been upstairs waiting every day!"

If Hermione was so so concerned about harry being caught, she should have been lookout for him when harry was in umbridge's office.

8:32 The Memory is Snape’s worst memory because it ended his friendship with Lily.

One of the sad implications is that Sirius probably thought that something had happened to Harry's mirror after the fireplace incident.

It’s very interesting to see these two boarding the hinny train in real time

The way Lupin and Sirius interact with Harry in Grimauld Place, secures my position that they should have raised Harry together in place of his parents.

For me personally, Harry not using the communication mirror is perhaps the most frustrating part of not just this book, but the entire series. I remembering being a young teenager reading these books and angrily wishing for Harry to be losing sleep over his stupidity... Obviously I've grown out of that now, but it still annoys me a little.

Jame certainly used offensive magic on Snape. Lupin even say they hexed each other. James was definitely a dink at this point.

Arthur gets promoted between the end of this book and the beginning of the next book when Rufus becomes minister of Magic because as soon as Molly and Harry are alone when he arrives at the Weasley in the next book she immediately tells Harry that Arthur got promoted as head of the new combined department under Rufus it's such a sweet moment. :-)

When you talk about castle's size, remember that this is not only a school, but also a place where they are living for almost all year.

Your high school didn't have sleeping rooms for hundreds of students and living quarters for all teachers and other staff members. Imagine how different is kitchen (serving all meals during the day) or all room that numerous bathrooms (not toilets) are taking.
You also have to have different facilities to spend time after lessons (students need more places than only common rooms and great hall). What about owlery, greenhouses, secret rooms and tons of different spaces that are mentioned in the series. It all takes place.

This is not only a school. This is self-sufficient castle with hundreds of residents AND a school inside.

The library scene between harry and jinny is my favorite Hinny moment of the series and it does not get enough credit for how much foreshadowing it gives.

Students should not keep their potions! Remember St. Mungo's? "A clean cauldron keeps potions from
becoming poisons" and "Antidotes are anti-don'ts unless approved by a qualified healer". Besides, they're still learning. Harry thinks he'll get an 'E' but he doesn't know that.

I suspect Hogwarts has a rule that students aren't allowed to remove potions from the classroom.
