Zelda now has its third Hyrule Warriors title, its very first on Switch 2, and...not much has changed, has it? Here's my review.

One BIG thing for me about this game, is that you can turn on the visual for weapon combos in settings! Then you never have to remember anything!

@MrVacca 10 months ago

I have put 50 hours into the game and absolutely love it.

@Samuel.55 10 months ago

Recall after a weapon combo to do it all again is by far the coolest thing I’ve seen in this game

@ngrey1026 10 months ago

Calamo, genuinely, best part of the game

Construct Link:"I'm the hero to surpass The hero of the wild himself. Wild Link"
Link:"No! That is NOT Wild Link"

20:45 That Guardian shouting "WHAT!?" gives me endless joy

I much much more preferred Age of Calamity’s weapon upgrade system. This one really encourages you to wait to upgrade weapons until you get the best and highest quality steels, where in AoC you could fuse your weaker weapon into a higher attack damage weapon later on so that it doesn’t get wasted

Has it really been five years since Age of Calamity?💀

Just wild how they couldn't possibly make a Zelda game without Link in it, so they put robo-link in there instead to do all the badass things instead of Zelda. Amazing

I really love the Hyrule Warriors games a lot. A typical Zelda game can't really have an active war, but these spinoffs let's us experience what the wars would be like.

Yeah, I'm probably the only one who feels this way, but I actually really like the randos they added in the roster. I really like Vence. A sword using Rito is kinda cool.

Btw they announced that they are adding free dlc and some has already come out which is nice

The cutscenes are prerendered and take up a HUGE amount of space, 60fps would've made it take even more. They should've just done the cutscenes in-engine, and it would've taken up much less space. This is why this game is almost 50gb. I do like how they made the sages not identical copies of their descendents. These are clearly their own people. The "identical grandson" trope is way overused and I'm glad they didn't go that way.

I 100%ed the game yesterday and have 109 hours spent in the game. It’s wonderful.

Why is it that literally every single non-story mission in this game is just:
1. Fight two mini bosses
2. Fight big boss

Where is all the strategy??
Capturing the bases??
