Welcome to my biggest adventure yet!

After years of dreaming about visiting Fraser Island (K'gari), it's finally happening. But first... I have to drive almost 2,000 kilometres from cold, wet Melbourne to the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

Over 3 days, 23 hours of driving, and nearly 2,000km, I leave behind winter weather and arrive in a tropical paradise where it's 28°C, the sun is shining, and the beaches stretch for miles.

Drive from Melbourne to Queensland
Camp on the beach at beautiful Rainbow Beach
Enjoy incredible beach driving in my Ford Ranger Raptor
Cook up some great camp meals
Wake to strong coastal winds and secure my awning before breakfast
