Hey Bud, here's a quick thought to ponder OK.
It was not until back in 2015 - 2018 when Australia become "AMERICANISED" that EVERYONE literally over night began to call there Road Trip a "ROUTE" OK.
So here is a little insight as to how to pronounce the word ROUTE on a map as ROOT OK?
Here's my very very simple explanation and you will know this oh very well!!!
OK here it goes.
I am more than sure you are familiar with the Famous Road in America named ROUTE 66 OK.
All the Signage along the road show it as ROUTE 66 OK.
Now here is the kicker for you for all the world needs to understand pronunciation OK?
I give you and ALL your viewers the Time out to listen to the Song , WORLD known SONG named ROUTE 66 OK.
In the song the word ROUTE is pronounced ROOT OK !!!!!
SO SO WHY are you ALL CALLING YOUR TRAVEL ON A MAP A ROUTE when you all say the word ???
It Drives me soo soo wild that people do not understand this and pronounce the word the wrong way and have become Americanised !!!!!
ELVIS did not travel when he said the word along the Highway ROUTE 66 !!!!
He said root 66 !!!!
As the Famous song goes,
"GET YOR KICKS, ON ROOT 66" thats how its pronounced in the song, not ROUTE !!!!
Take a few minutes of time out OK and have a think about that !!!
I beg you all to listen to the song Route 66 and it will change your way of pronunciation of the word.
Something to ponder guys OK.
If I am Correct , I win a PATRIOT CAMPER.....
👍👍👍
