Welcome to Northeast Arnhem Land!
This is the start of a five-part series exploring one of the most remote parts of Australia, we have no real idea what the next few weeks are going to throw at us!
In this first episode, we prep the Prado, boat and trailer for the journey before making our way out into Arnhem Land. What followed was seven days of tough weather, damaged gear and plenty of challenges along the way but also some of the most incredible places and fishing we've experienced.
We kick things off at Buymarr, where after all the preparation and travel, the fishing finally turns it on. Over two unreal days we find plenty of barramundi and mangrove jack, explore some incredible country and get our first taste of what Northeast Arnhem Land has to offer.
This is just the beginning. Five videos, remote camps, tough conditions, plenty of things going wrong and some seriously good fishing along the way.

Boat,60 to 70hp.
Any bigger is massive investment which depreciation kills .
And becomes heavy to tow ,fuel,rego×2,launchability in difficult areas
All become problems.
4.75m to 5m.
Is the optimal .after 50 yrs of experience inshore and offshore
People with 6m 7m boats don't want to go to the reef in rough weather anyway. 😊
