I don't think I've ever seen any reactor watching+showing each short before Jason explains it... great idea and execution, love it! ❤

The reason why insulin boy became the sugar-free incredible hulk is because in rare instances, low blood sugar can trigger an adrenal response

The Flakka one will never NOT freak me out. There's obviously something going on to make everyone who takes it hallucinate the same thing. What really worries me is that if we figure out exactly why this is; could we then figure out ways to create other, specific, targetted hallucinations? Because THAT could be abused in the most terrifying of ways. Imagine a modified and airborne version of Flakka that makes everyone hallucinate dinosaurs being released in a city like New York. Chaos would ensue.

2:05 As a mechanic, this is one of my fears. That's why I always double check the jack stands are locked in position, locking bar inserted and they car is firmly held in place with no side to side movement. Also, NEVER USE ONLY A FLOOR JACK TO HOLD UP A CAR!!! Floor jacks are designed to roll and not meant to hold up a vehicle while you are under for an extended period of time, that is why we have jack stands. I've had my floor jack slowly fall because the internal seals were old and needed replacing.

And now I am worried about invisible wolves...

3:30 Adrenaline got me out of the burning wreck of my car under my own power with a fractured back. I was an incapacitated ball of pain by the time the 'bolance got there, and I was very happy to get a shot of the good stuff once I got to the ER.

Adrenaline doesn't actually give you super strength. It makes you not care about hurting yourself. The guy that picked up the car almost certainly ripped something.

I had a friend who abused flakka since 2016 then just last year he got clean and I asked him about it and even showed him the short.

He said obviously there isnt physical real wolves chasing him but instead an overwhelming feeling of dread and hallucinations that you see that aren't physical or don't even have forms they're more like smoke chasing you.

Back in 2018 he was arrested and released because he didn't harm anyone or break anything so the police took him to the hospital they gave him stuff to counter the flakka and he was alright.

I'm glad he finally got off the stuff because the stories I heard from him were genuinely horrific, never feeling safe, thinking everyone is after you, and other mental issues that impact your brain from using that stuff for 8 to 9 years.

Flakka seems stimulates the area of the brain that "contains" our "fear of predator" combined with the halezugenic component we see something chasing us. Wolfes are just one of the predators we still meet (dogs) so they are more "forefront".

Ain't no way you talking about loving potatoes while i fry my fries Lol

3:35 Our muscles are actually limiting their full strength all the time, because the full strength would *tear the muscle from bone*, but adrenaline can temporarily lift those limits to give you what appears to be brief superhuman strength...at the cost of some pretty severe damage that'll take some time to heal

15:36  as the step daughter of a head nurse I can tell ya this. There is no way to count the amount of people that come in for that idiocy.
And almost every single one gave a stupid story how it got there.
I never asked for details cause I don’t wanna know. But apparently they find a lot of different and weird things up there.  😬

28:58 CAN'T TELL ME HOW TO LIVE MY LIFE
But valid advice

Great choice to show the actual videos before Jason's elaborations 👍.

15:14 They lie about it so much that the hospital I did IT for called it a "Code Eiffel".

Anyone else think that Bao would enjoy the effects of Flakka a bit too much?

3:30  To clarify your comment - no, adrenaline doesn't make you "super-human," it turns off a natural limiter (pain) that your body has. Essentially, your muscles are capable of exerting so much force that they damage themselves or other parts of your body, so you have a sort of mental block (and again, physical, because it will start hurting) that stops you from doing that. And adrenaline decides "Living with an injury is bettter than not living" and smashed the limiter with a hammer so you can do whatever it is you need to do. Then it wears off and you realize "oh. Everything hurts."

Thank you very much maddie for the reaction video today and hopefully you are taking care of yourself 👍🩷🩷🩷
