To Quote Eddie Murphy's Doctor DoLittle:

to a lady who was highly allergic to and had just eaten shellfish
"Ma'am, did you eat shellfish again?"
"I took the shell off of it this time"

I saw someone in the comments of the adenosine video say that adenosine works by transferring the patient's heart rate to everyone else in the room.

With flakka, the main symptoms are paranoia and hallucinations. One of the most common hallucinations from Flakka is being chased by some type of predator. They usually think they are being chased by wolves.

12:41 RULES FOR BODLIY OBJECT INSERTION!
1. Flared base that is bigger than the widest part going inside!
2. No shatter prone material (ex. glass, ceramics). The doctors will have to get very tiny shard out.
3. No hollow objects! Your body can produce A LOT of pressure in most of its holes, so it is possible for you to collapse an object (real bad in combination with #2).

Ah, Adenosine... it has the lovely side effect of transferring the patient's BPM into the surrounding area.

He wasn't kidding, that whole thing with the catheter.... ouch.

21:53 I have no actual references for this, this is just my theory:
1) Vinegar can neutralize the sting of a number of jellyfish species (mostly tropical species), to the point that some beach lifeguard stations keep jugs of vinegar on hand for first aid.
2) People can't keep various "smelly, strong tasting liquids" straight.

@MxBlueFlare 11 months ago

Yall- as an Aussie, jellyfish stings are common. USE VINEGARRRRRR! Like- we have bottles of vinegar stationed on every beach yall

Mentioning flour flammability, the mythbusters showed that non-dairy coffee creamer powder is INSANELY flammable when aerosolized. It creates an unusually large fireball.

Should have your dad react to when this guy green screens himself to all the 911 shows.

For Jellyfish: HOT water... really hot water... as hot as you can stand without burning you hot water... it disarms the stingers and helps neutralize the venom.

My group of friends have a saying for ourselves, "We judge, but we won't shame."

Tell the cops nothing, tell the EMT/Paramedic EVERYTHING

@Vivi239 1 year ago

My dad was a paramedic for at least 40 years, and an RN in an ED at one of our city's largest hospitals for 32 years. He said the worst smelling thing he's ever experienced is an upper GI bleed.

36:00 Flour or anything like custard power is really dangerous near fire. In 2015, at a water park in Taiwan, coloured cornstarch sprayed over a concert audience ignited, provoking a maelstrom in which more than 500 people were injured. Twenty people died as a result of their injuries. Also back in 1981 in the UK there was a massive fire at a custard factory. Also Ouch!

“Only in Florida” ironically guess where these incidents take place.

Yep.

@dyeager01 11 months ago

It started because people thought the ammonia and urea in urine would help. When in fact, it just makes it hurt much more. A Friends episode helped popularize it.

@Vertraic 1 year ago

Quick search says that the popularity of the jellyfish myth came from it being in an episode of Friends. Not sure if it ORIGINATED there, or was just popularized by it.
