"Something" belongs to S tier

Ringo Starr actually narrated Thomas The Tank Engine, maybe that’s your connected memory.

Him calling the song "Golden showers" had me cracking a lot

The production on this album is 100/10, legit one of the best sounding albums ever.

Golden Showers gives the song a whole new meaning.

The palette cleanser was getting up, walking across the room, flipping the record over to side two for Here Comes The Sun.

Every Beatle played a solo on The End.  The only time they ever did that.

'This is disgusting!'.  What a fantastic description of 'I want you (she's so heavy)'. It's disgustingly brilliant

Essentially they didn’t dislike eachother - they loved eachother in the way only they could - however they almost outgrew eachother.

Frank Sinatra called “Something” the greatest love song of the 20th century.

"This album might have some of my favorite harmonies from them" right before Because. Man I fucking love The Beatles

I Want You ends that way because it was the last song on side A of the vinyl. Lennon opted for the song to end as soon as the side was complete, thus the abrupt ending. Here Comes the Sun signifies the beginning of the (chiller) side B :)

On the original LP, I Want You (She's So Heavy) ended side one with the straight cut to silence. Here Comes the Sun only began after you'd chilled out, flipped the album over, and started it playing again.

Back in the day, the palette cleanser between “She’s So Heavy” and “Here Comes the Sun” was the act of flipping the album over. It was like an intermission.

Whats even better about "I Want You" is that it was the last song on side 1 so you had to litterally sit there with that dread untill you were ready to move to side to and continue to the happiest song youve ever fucking heard

Wait till he finds out that Thomas the Tank Engine was narrated by Ringo starr…

The Abby Road Medley always gets people the first time they listen, then it becomes an instant classic for them.
