In case I don't make the stream. Keep up the good work!

I'm a big fan of the "listen to the whole verse first, get hyped, then go back and break down every bar" format.

The
“You’re an imposter in hot water like
Among Us in the bathtub”

is a reference to the beginning of Glass Onion where Blanc is indeed, playing Among Us in the bath out of boredom

Ben Atha (the Benoit Blanc body actor) coming back to a rap battle 10 years later is such fun. He looked like he was having a blast while acting.

Fun fact the actor who plays columbo in this actually does videos where he voices him and is gonna either play or voice columbo in a future death battle against light yagami

Batman calling himself Gothams Shinigami after replicating The Dark Night returns cover is the most badass thing ive seen on a rap battle, props to everyone involucrated

Columbo's style of murder mystery is called "howcatchem", where the murder and the culprit are shown at the beggining of the episode and the appeal is seeing how the detective is going to catch the criminal, which is why he "takes what's known and rediscovers it", because the premise of his show is him finding out information that we, as the audience, already knew.
Also, Sherlock mentions cocaine because he literally used to do lines of cocaine in many of his books to help him solve murders, keep in mind that back when his books where written, cocaine was thought of as cutting edge medicine, so he's saying that even Batman and his millions of dollars in technology can't compare to Sherlock making use of a singular drug

i cant get over this man having a mental breakdown over "THE KNIGHT MAKES AN L!! THE KNIGHT MAKES AN L!!"

The fact that Dustin casted Ben Atha to play Benoit Blanc, played by Daniel Craig and Ben Atha appeared in James Bond vs Austin Powers to portray the DANIEL CRAIG version of James Bond, WAS GENIUS

"And the horse makes L! And the horse makes L! And the horse makes L!"

Shoutouts to Watson saying the line “Every death that I note.” Because in canon, Watson is the one documenting all of Sherlock’s cases. So he is noting all the deaths that Sherlock is able to solve.

Also Agatha Christie created Hercule Poirot, and her life is a really interesting story too.

27:00 "Written off by his Sidekick's Sidekick"
This means L was written off by Light's Sidekick's (Misa) sidekick (Rem). Because Rem wrote L real name in her death note.

“If this is the bottom, the top is going to give me a heart attack.” — JosiahGAmesTV when reacting to Joe Biden vs Jofinity

The part where you went insane saying "THE HORSE MAKES AN L" made me laugh SO HARD😭

Poirot is from a long series of detective books, Murder on the Orient Express is just one of his most famous cases.

When you paused it at 27:56 I read the lyrics “boy, wonder where would you get a sidekick” ,I just remembered that robins nickname is “The Boy Wonder”.

Agathie Christie is the author of the books Poirot is from.

"the perfect foil to Kira because you're heartless" is bars because KIRA CAUSES HEART ATTACKS.

"Give me one crossover I'll drop the Joker" is kind of a reference to playing a card game
