I rememberd back then Lime Crime was THE Brand for all the alternative/Goth Girlies, it was praised beyond believe, when you had something from them you were cool and then we all kinda grew up and it disappeared, just to emerge with all the horrible stuff and scandals that back then as a teenager you didnt really hear about and the current horrific drift

I clicked on this so fast cause I was an OG eBay diy clothing seller and remember her bullying ppl in Little Big Girls. She always gave me the ick. I’m so glad you brought up Amy- cuz a lot of people leave her out in this story. But, she is so important- as someone who was “there” at the time it was so obvious she was obsessed with Amy and wanted to be her- copied her style, designs, makeup, company, etc. I’ve met Amy and she seems so genuine- I feel bad she had to go through all that! 😢

I remember when she was initially accused of reselling loose eye shadows that bought in bulk and re-packaged. She threatened to sue the person who did the review and forced them to take it down. It did not go down well with the makeup community at the time.

Super parasocial of me but I work in a pharmacy and I’ve always listened to your videos with the idea that with your wit and sense of humor you’d be an absolute joy to work with as a customer / patient. Oh man, she was my first "influencer". I was into her band SkySalt well before DoeDeere begged my mom to buy the glitters, I OWNED an eBay listing of hers, supported the initial lipsticks and wore them religiously in highschool (the blue and orange ones the most). I can still smell them if I think about it. This whole situation broke my heart so bad lmfao😭

I mostly knew Lime Crime for their (also controversial) hair dyes, so hearing the extensive list of awful scandals within the first five minutes is such shock 😭
