This is all Freddie's vocals multilayered. So beautiful. Great reaction.

Freddie was the brightest star in the universe and then went supernova for eternity

Freddie had to drop each of his harmonies in just the right place.  Nowadays, it is easy to drop and remove them digitally,  but if you messed up then, there were no do-overs.  You have a great ear and increase my listening enjoyment by pointing out things I did not hear.

This truly shows Freddie's genius. Beautiful.

Freddie's phrasing as always, was exquisite.

All the voices in this one are Freddy (self harmonies)

This is an absolute master piece.

One of the best songs ever.

At the end he's singing 'take my breath away...'

What can we say other than quite simply one of the greatest love songs ever  ..

This is prime example A in which I tell people who say only listen to Queen live - you have to listen to both studio and live. They were masters of creating the complex in the studio and masters of stripping them down for live performances. Sometimes you may prefer one version over the other, but you have to listen to both of them to truly appreciate the genius of Queen. The Hyde Park version of this one is beautiful, this version is amazing. You can’t compare them, just listen to and appreciate both.

So just to clarify, did you like it? 🤣🤣 After hearing the stripped back, not recorded yet live version, to this one....just goes to show his talent for arranging! Very understated. Very haunting. Very beautiful! Great reaction 👏👏👏

A beautiful emotional song, going from stripped back single voice and piano to rich,  lush harmonies in the blink of an eye. An absolute masterpiece, kind of reprised in Jealousy a few years later

Freddie was the master as he sang from his heart and soul.

These opening harmonies were all song by Freddie which Brian said he had never heard a singer do before to such perfection.

Yes, all the vocals are Freddie!

Ah thank you one of queens most sentimental songs apparently written for David Minns one of Freddie’s first lovers he put his heart and soul into his songs and that’s why queens legacy will never die take care look after yourself x x

That gave me shivers…. How did Queen always do it!!!! They were the best! RIP Freddie.

Back in the early queen days Freddie was known as the Master of Overdub. This is one of my most favorite early Queen songs written by Freddie, the vocal tracks are breath-taking and spectacularly superb!
