This song and Mother Love were finished after Freddie's death and Brian refused to let anyone else touch them, he said he knew what Freddie wanted and how they should be and that is how Brian intended to present them.  It took quite some time until Brian had healed enough to go in and get these two finished but he finally did get it done.  Merry Christmas to you and those you love and thank you for this fantastic reaction to such a beautiful song.  Freddie wrote this about the place he loved staying in Montreux, on Lake Geneva.

Freddie loved Christmas. Here's a little true Christmas story, from the Queen Roadie named Crystal. He was at Freddie's house and Freddie told him he  saw this shirt that was perfect for Crystal's Christmas present. Crystal said Freddie couldn't contain himself, Freddie said, oh I know it's a little early but you must have it now, Freddie ran upstairs and gave Crystal his Christmas present. Crystal said it was the first time he got a Christmas present in May🤣

The beauty of this song is indescribable!! Freddie's voice was so strong until the end and he left us with so much love💞💞 to last through an eternity!! I love him more everyday!!💖💖💖 Merry Christmas to all, be blessed and stay safe!!🥂

Love seeing his actual handwriting.

What a beautiful song this is.  Like a landscape painting in the sky.  Thank you Freddie Mercury for this song.   Just a couple months before he passed away.  This makes me weep.  There is so much depth to Freddie.   How blessed we are with all his music that will last forever.   Love you Freddie Mercury ❤🎵🎤❤❤

It always seems to me as if Freddie's eyes were being opened more intensely than ever before to the beauty of the world, even as he was preparing to leave it.

The guitar is crying.

Lovely reaction. This is the last song written by Freddie and the writing on the video is his. Such a beautiful optimistic song considering what Freddie was going through

Thank you David. Perfect choice. I've been waiting for your Christmas Eve special and you didn't disappoint. Very emotional song especially in the circumstances. Freddie wrote the lyrics in Montreux while looking out over the lake from his apartment. So ill yet still seeing such beauty in his surroundings. What an extraordinary human being he was. This was his last time in Montreux, seeing his beloved swans. Makes you cry just thinking about it. Agree with you on the youthful tone of his voice at this time.....it started with the Miracle album I think and continued to the end. Bless you for doing this. Happy Christmas David. 💕💕💕

Freddie's beautiful song, all the beauty he observed put in this song. Merry Christmas to you.

Great reaction to one of my favorite Freddie songs.  I love you pointing out all the little nuances!

Hello David, so good to see you.
This one is one of the most amazing Freddie's songs. He was so ill but still could see the beauty in the small things and give hope to us all. It's like he knew we would need every drop of his hope, his immense love for life.
I love listen to this song and every time tears fall down. Happiness and sadness all mixed. Only Freddie could and can do this.
I wish you a very special Christmas, filled with Freddie's love.
Much love from me and Portugal

Happy Christmas and yes Freddie’s fucking amazing!!!

Beautiful song and a great reaction David. He managed to paint such a beautiful picture of what he could see, which I always find sad as towards the end Freddie began to lose his sight.
I hope you and the rest of us have a safe and peaceful, merry Christmas 🎄🤗😘

Thank you for doing this song today David!  It's just perfect for Christmas eve!  Where I am the temperature is 18 degrees F. and we have lots of snow and ice.  Seeing the wintry world through Freddie's eyes and hearing his voice makes me feel warmer.  And hearing you love it too just makes it so much better.  Merry Christmas, David.  I also love that they put Freddie's handwriting in the video.

Brian's Guitar is weeping I think !

You found it!! One of my favorites! Freddie was incredibly ill when he sang this- and it’s so amazing!  Last year I suggested this to another reactor and he played it.. perfect for today David—. It came from small notes Freddie wrote.

A Winters Tale is spectacular even in his physical condition. Freddie put out some of his best works at this time.  Every time I hear this, I cry.  Mother love was finished by Brian  with much difficulty.Very hard under the circumstances.  I am reminded how much I miss him.

Thank you! Great reaction as always! This is such a beautiful song. But it's also tinged with a bit of sadness. The fact that Freddie could find beauty in the little things and in nature at this point in his life, so near the end is really a lesson for us all, isn't it!

🌹this song is beautiful just as Freddie is BEAUTIFUL 🙏R I P  Freddie Mercury you are missed 😢
