the professional astronaut needing to be replaced because she had bad tacos the night before the launch really sets the tone for this movie

I like how the only options he thought of for how the russian dude got a shark daughter was that he was pregnant with her or shes adopted, not that ya know, he got really lonely one night and started making eyes at one of the sharks 😂

I know that this "modern day" is supposed to be kinda futuristic, but algae on the moon sounds like a pretty big scientific discovery, no? I guess I can't blame the characters for not paying too much attention to that when there's mutant shark people around

The fact the sharks become more human looking after years on the moon, you know, after being stuck with humans is deeply concerning.

"Who the hell about to open a door or window in SPACE?!"
"Why the hell is there an OPENABLE window in SPACE?!"

Shark Side of the Moon is such a great name unironically

How long before they decide to go even more absurd and reverse the roles? A society of sharks who deal with huma-nados, 2-5 headed humans, mecha humans vs sharks, sharks vs ghosts, ghost sharks vs ghost humans.

I want to make a comedy movie called Sharkadoodledoo. It's about a shark who thinks it's a chicken.

"The sharks can smell blood in the air". What air? On the moon?

I feel like they were going for a sort of 60s space exploitation style low budget movie, where astronauts in shiny leotards smoke in outer space and meet the catwomen of planet Zordon or something who also wear leotards and fight with sharp sticks

Todd's intense horniness for the shark people is deeply relatable

The reason those running animations look so silly is because they're from a mocap library of stock humanoid animations from Mixamo. I recognised them instantly!

I had absolutely no idea what was going on this entire time but I enjoyed every moment of it

Everyone on Earth wants a shark tooth necklace from moon sharks. This is a disgusting corporate movie from big necklace.

Ok but one of the weirdest bits here is that the sharks had an entire city and time to build it on the moon and nobody.... noticed..? Like. The moon is under pretty constant observation. Not once in 30yrs of the shark population developing stuff did a single scientist on earth spot a random building pop up ON THE MOON and maybe question it a little. Bonkers.

Them and their eggs???? Hammer sharks don't lay eggs, most sharks don't.

Edit: ok, I suspended disbelief for breathing without water (AND air) but getting oxygen from algae?.... And algae are growing on the moon without water?

Leg guy is the perfect example of a plot device with plot armour

0:26 i am way more afraid of a moose than a shark theyre legit agressive 😂

I like how you say that the indication for the time period are the rubiks cubes and the radio, as if the giant USSR flags weren't already a clear indication lol

What I've discovered is that movies from Asylum just have random explosions at moments where explosions don't usually happen. IE the subs in Titanic II just, exploding.
