“I’m a god how can you refuse a god.” What a grand and intoxicating innocence eh?

You have graduated from just background noise to main screen. Love your videos

I know "break from my usual fare" often means worse metrics for videos, but I hope you do more like this. I vote for more breadth of subject, not less.

Holy crap, I love Dread Delusion. What an absolutely amazing fit for this channel. Foreground noise.

Dread Delusion looks like how Morrowind's deep lore feels

"You can't refuse me, I'm a god! What a grand and intoxicating innocence!"

Dread Delusion is a fever dream of a game. And I mean that literally, this game feels like how it feels to play video games while deliriously sick and hopped up on NyQuil.

I love it, so much. The Clockwork Kingdom has parts that legitimately made me cry.

Really interesting thing about character creation is that the second and third choices are influenced by the first. My background was Nobility and while the stat boosts were the same, they represented different things (the boost to charm was as a Socialite rather than an Assassin).

I really love how your videos share your artistic interpretations. To paraphrase something you've said before and in this video, "art doesn't stop just because the painter has finished." And I love the work you do to share how you continue exploring art in your videos! I don't see many creators with that same goal

This video was a gem, and I'm excited for more!

I think it’s natural that a more essay style approach will work better for conveying some ideas than a linear one and vice versa. I think you do a great job with either format.

The games ending is just "What a grand and intoxicating innocence. How could you be so naive?"

Yay! Another video to help me delude myself that the world isn't a horrid mess. So what's this game? Dread delusio... Oh god damnit...

I would not complain to have more videos like this. An enjoyable change of pace!

Its not a Morrowind-like but Lunacid might be up your alley if you found this game pretty cool. I found it really simple and charming. It's made by the same person who made Spooky's Mansion of Jumpscares.

I love this “retrospective”. Do more man. You’re good at it.

I will literally just watch anything you put out. You are the first creator I have ever become a channel member for because you deserve all the support. Your content is perfect

I always appreciate seeing indies or underappreciated older games get a spotlight. Extra points because you're not just glazing them but also critical of their issues. I wouldn't mind seeing more of this content!

Dread Delusion is one of my favorite games, so I'm glad you enjoyed it, too. I will say about the ending, I definitely agree that it should have been decided by how you played rather than just giving you choices to click, but what you didn't bring up is how the ending slides ARE determined by how you completed the major side quests. And based on your ending slides, you got (in my opinion) the worst ones in almost all of them. So the reason everything still sucks is because of the choices you already made, so it's consistent with how you played the character.

I don't want this to go to your head, JBN, but I'm basically on board with any kind of video you want to make or try. You're a quality content creator.

41:30 Regarding the airships, yeah you're basically right. They were a planned feature from the start of development, but weren't added until just before release, when they cranked out a bunch of dungeons (the giant squid, desert island, the ruins, and the final stage). Combining the new story developments and new gameplay developments was probably a high priority - but it would be awesome if there was a way to access an airship earlier in the game.
