I absolutely love how Tyler is written in this alternative season. The masses would wholeheartedly agree that Tyler and Lindsay have the most genuine relationship even in a competition.

I love how this alternative reality made me love the "preppy and goth" friendship.

I like the idea of lindsay and noah being partnered up in the finale mainly because it could be due to her forgetting beths name and saying noah so confidently as if thats who she is thinking of to be shocked when seeing noah just arrive.

the ozzy and codierra scene was so genius because it felt good finally settling the glaring issues between sierra and cody but also owen and izzy arguing over food having sentimental feelings made me burst out laughing

Courtney and Sierra's friendship in this is amazing, one issue I had with Courtney in the original TD is that after Island she never had any friends since the writers forgot about her and Bridgette, and then from S3 onwards they constantly forced her to be friends with Gwen, which just doesn't work so well and derails them both.

I always love your alternative versions of TDA, because you manage to keep so much of the original season's potential and develope plotlines much further than they did.
And I especially love what you did with Tyler.

Duncan vs Lindsay is what I wish the actual finale of TDA had been like (or Lindsay vs Harold, or Harold vs Duncan), and this what if scenario was really really great. The second half of the season rewrite was pretty intense and I'm mostly surprise with how far the chef and tyler illegal alliance was able to last (plus then tyler becoming the mole in Owen's place, genius decision).

Honestly, it's these kinds of details that make your What Ifs just feel that more accurate. Like, it's a detail that doesn't need to be mentioned at all, but it's something I would totally see Total Drama doing. Of course, the heart and soul of the What If is the really interesting storylines, but these minor details make it feel more alive, instead of just feeling like the characters themselves are reading off a script, just like you are.

I feel like Lindsay ending  would be canon as everyone in this what if is underestimating Lindsay to the point no one tries to take her out and she wins because of that.

Worth the wait, this is just as good as part 1. I love Izzy getting more of a character then just the crazy chick, I really like Chef getting a prominent role, I like Alejandro being a great and competent villain without being this unstoppable flawless contestant, Courtney is now a character I actually like past season 1, Gwen and Lindsay is another interesting and out of the box idea for a friendship portrayed really well and of course, justice for Lindsay and Tyler as competitors and as a couple. Hope your recovery raps up well and thank you for the amazing content.

Upon thinking about this rewrite, I thought who could be labeled as the antagonist of this season, and the most likely I could think of is Tyler, despite not being a villain. Then I thought that his plotline is a pretty good way to make a sympathetic antagonist in this show. Total Drama didn't have anyone like that (DJ and Owen played the unwilling cheater and mole part in the canon, but DJ wasn't around for long and Owen wasn't as much as unwilling as Tyler in this rewrite).

What you did could be a breath of fresh air in the series.
