It's always the unexpected friendships that do it for me in these What-Ifs. Danw and Lightning were such a welcome change of pace and I think my highlight of the entire What-If is Dawn snapping at Lightning. It's not something I would expect to see from Dawn but it still made sense with her character and understandable considering she kept getting dunked on for something she didn't do.

Despite this being a project you weren't passionate about, this was another banger.

59:27 that joke would've been wild lmao

we need a continuation to this, I would LOVE to see the dawn and lightning dynamic more explored in all stars

THE BIRD DOES WHAT TO DAWN?????

This is actually so amazing LIKE OMG, the interactions, alliance, LIGHTNING AND DAWN??

You're really good at this man, also hope you're doing good :3
(Dawn saying jo must've miss brick is my favourite IEJSIDHS)

I think a better what if question was, what if Dawn didn't let scot know she suspected him

this might be my new favorite what if from you tbh, dawn and lightning are by far my 2 favorites from this cast and i think you used them both so well! i also was not expecting such a wholesome friendship from them but i absolutely adored it, was smiling so hard during the jail part and lightning's elimination. can't express how much i'd love to see this in an official context lol (or tbh just anything more with dawn in an official context). fantastic video!!

I have a fun idea for island.

I found out that Noah was going to be the brain of Heather's alliance in the original script. In this scenario Heather wanted someone smart to help with her plans & strategies, but not a very threatening contestant. And Noah would of made it to the merge & exposed his alliance with Heather in the episode "No pain no game" .

I feel like this would make an amazing video idea. Please 😊

I always assumed she found the real statue but Scott changed it when he went to dump all the stolen items in her sack

Just finished and honestly, I was impressed. I’ve never really liked this What-If, just because it always felt like all the villains would be eliminated, but you actually gave a lot of depth to Jo, Dawn, and Lightning, which I really liked. Seeing some of my faves, Cameron and Jo, get really big plot lines was fun to see, and I’m excited for your next video.

That was a really fun video! The way you used Dawn here is a lot different than what I usually see from her in fan stuff, and I think it's for the best. Very invested in her friendship with Lightning, would never have imagined that for her. Jo was great too, and I really like how you didn't have to make her a fully-fledged antagonist here. Lightning and Cameron didn't have much personal tension in the canon finale, whereas I think Jo and Cameron's respect and caution towards one another's skills makes for a much more satisfying clash. This might be a new fave of mine from you.

Despite the elimination order being very similar to the original, I think this is a much better version of ROTI. I always thought that Jo would be a much better main antagonist, and they really are. Plus, dawn and lightning have a cool friendship. This was really well done, great job.

Great what if, it was surprisingly enjoyable. Also, I think Scott is the main antagonist of ROTI because I don't consider Lightning a full fledged villain until maybe the finale and while I do consider Jo a villain she doesn't always work like one and was eliminated slightly before and had a lesser impact on the eliminations than Scott.

I’d be curious to see something along the lines of “what if Geoff and Bridgette weren’t all over each other at the start of TDA” because it seems like that would change a LOT about the direction of that season

Dropping everything, TD Wonderer posted 5 minutes ago.

Could you do a sequel/continuation total drama season with the revenge cast based on the ‘What if Dawn found the real invincibility statue?’

Maybe the rest could eventually find out the truth that Scott was the one who stole and Dawn was framed

An idea I have for a what-if is “What if Izzy and Owen didn’t jump out of the plane in Jamaica Me Sweat”. I feel like that episode in World Tour took out Izzy specifically so Noah would lose his voting power on Team Chris and get eliminated in London, so I think it’d be interesting to see how far she makes it if she remained in the game.

This is perfect, I always thought it made more sense for Jo to go to the finale against Cameron, as ROTI is the only season to not have a unisex finale. And the theme of Brain vs. Brawn still fits. Jo definitely deserved to get to the finale more than Lightning and the karma Lightning got in the finale when he lost definitely wasn't as deserved since he wasn't really a villain, unlike Jo. Good work, wouldn't expect anything less from you!

You actually made me root for Cameron this time, well done.

If Dawn found the idol i think things would change
