Until I heard reviews years later I always thought the dark scenes were just me having my TV adjusted poorly.

I don't get how nobody in charge seen how dark this movie was and didn't flag it

"Darkest movie ever."

Yeah, that maternity ward scene is pretty shocking.

Looks at the thumbnail

Oh. He means literally.

The brothers look exactly like what I expected

Also big missed opportunity to have him deliver the pizza to Lane 426

When a movie requires you to wear night vision goggles just to see, you've done something wrong

"I can't see shit in this fucking thing."

-The Predator in the voice of the klansmen from Django: Unchained

i cannot understand why they made it so dark, like did they not watch the movie back in the editing process?
but worse was the teen drama in the beginning, like who thought 'you know what the alien and predator franchise were missing? some one tree hill/the oc style drama'?

Alien vs. Predator: Rectum

6:50 For almost 20 years I am waiting for someone besides me making the "crusted butt" joke. Brother, I feel you.

They really should've based it on the AvP comics, (at least the original run) would've been a slam dunk I think, set on a ranching colony, had a well written female lead who kicks ass, and the whole getting back to nature and survival of the fittest themes, they could've weaved the short epilogue story of colonial Marines investigating the distress signal from the incident into  it aswell, get the nostalgia bait of Colonial Marines, made it gory and action packed, which the comics were anyway, honestly would've been so much better than the two movies we got, especially this one

I remember liking this movie more than I thought I would, the Predator/ Alien fights were good, but now I remember Dawson's creek background story dragging AVP down.

Saw this in the theater and was excited as well but had no clue what was going on at all with flat useless characters and it was sooo dark!!  Watching the highlights here reminded me of how dark it was!

::Me reading the title:: THANK YOU. And no - "Survival of the Fittest" WOULD NOT be a better sub title.

This was the first alien vs predator movie I watched and I regretted it ever since I saw it in theater. That's the first time I exited the theater with a "what the fuck did I just watch?!"

I'm so early I don't know what to write

The guy they pick up when they split up with the sheriff was the pizza store manager, Ricky's boss, right?

I don’t think I’ve ever seen another film where I thought I had gotten a copy with something messed up with it because I couldn’t see what was happening on screen.

I'm today years old when I found out that the movie was dark? I legit have no memory of this from when I was a kid. I remember some scenes, and I remember not struggling to see what was going on.
