Fun fact that miles suit was so ass and out of place that fans theorized that it was specifically made because sony had a collab with adidas and wanted to sell their new shoes

My biggest issue with Spider Man 2’s story is how badly they botched Venom in this game. Not only does he basically boil down to an alien hellbent on world domination instead of a relentless adversary and foil to Spider-Man, but the FINAL BOSS of the game is Miles vs Venom, a fight holding no narrative weight because Miles and Harry don’t know each other at all so there’s no dramatic weight behind the two fighting.

"Miles new suit lacks the absolute swagger of a young black teen" IGN 8 out of 10

Peter: What the fuck are you wearing?

Miles: It’s time for a Miles Morales original y’know. 1 of 1.

Peter: That’s shit’s ass bro.

Worst thing about "Miles Morales original 1 of 1" is that he already made his own suit in the spin-off game and he and Pete even had a dialogue about it at the end of that game. So it just makes no sense for them to have that conversation in this game again

The saddest part of Spider-Man 2 is that it single-handedly tanked Insomniac’s reputation, they’re seen as a laughing stock and if those leaked games are anything to go by this isn’t going to end anytime soon. They’re gonna be stuck in the Marvel Mines making slop for the rest of time 💔

the worst part is the line peter delivers to miles where hes like "you're a better spiderman than me bc you actually reformed your villain" or something like that when throughout the game you meet sandman, mysterio and tombstone whos all actually reformed. the line doesnt make sense

This game had like 7 nominations at the game awards and won nothing. And looking back well deserved.

You can tell this game was rushed, like so many stuff was glossed over and it hurts.

I was immediately expecting you to make a polyester joke when I saw Spiderman in the title

What I find so ridiculous about when Miles reveals his new suit is that it's OBVIOUSLY RAINING outside so it doesn't even protect him from the elements, and god knows some of the water is going to drip through and get inside the suit and make it worse.

We all remember that horrible suit in that game for Miles Morales. What’s even crazier is that what he said after getting the suit is that it’s a “Miles Morales original“ so that entire time in that montage of him making his own suit in his own game was for nothing.

The director of the game openly stated that the Mary Jane segments were put in this game out of spite. The public stated her segments were a low point of the first game because they were slow and restrictive in a game that prided itself on its open ended and acrobatic combat, and they took that as they made a women look weak and "fixed" this "problem" by making her casually take down entire armies in ways that break the entire narrative.

Biggest justified switch up I have seen on a game.

I'm honestly still confused on how we went from the first game that has arguable the best story of any Spider-Man game that could compete with some of the best Spidey comic runs, to the sequel that fucks up the symbiote/Venom arc to such a degree that even Topher Grace feels more respectful to the character.

I still hate that a majority of the sinister 6 died off screen

Arkham Knight would have been much better if Batman just went "Jason this isn't you"

Fun fact The Miles’ suit at the end of the game was just a product placement for Adidas

Mile’s costume is also dumb on a secret identity level cause, hair falls out. As in someone can take a strand that’s fallen out and find his identity.

Now if iconic Spider man villain Big wheel appeared and said: "im wheelman" then it would have been peak
