It's our first time in Canada, and in this video we'll be exploring the country's largest city, Toronto! The first thing we do is hit the streets to get the general vibe of Toronto. From its peaceful parks to the more bustling business districts, we want to experience as much of the culture as we can. We also indulge in one of the most famous aspects of the city, the Toronto food scene. We eat at some of the best restaurants in Toronto and taste the must-try foods in Toronto while we're there. Some that highlight the local Canadian style and some that show the food diversity that Canada has! There's been a lot of drama lately between Canada and the US governments, so it'll be interesting to see for ourselves what the truth it about Canada, if everything we've been told about Canada is a lie, and if the US can actually compete with Canada for quality of life! Enjoy the adventure!

The extensive Canadian labelling is because people are boycotting US products

24:02 you guys don’t seem to realize that all that stuff you see in Toronto isn’t a ‘display’ for tourists - Kensington market, all the neighborhoods, the lakeshore, etc- is for Torontonians living their everyday lives to enjoy. Toronto is a HUGE, welcoming city, so just settle in and experience it as a local would.

A lot of the shows and movies that take place in New York City, were actually filmed in Toronto, so funnily enough their impressions of NY may actually be impressions of TO lol.

Poutine is only made with cheese curds. If it's made with regular cheese, it's just cheese fries.

Downtown the reason you aren't finding too many convenience stores etc is because they are underground. Around 75 buildings have over 30 kilometers of underground connected path with 3.7 million square feet of retail space. It is called the P.A.T.H. you will see signs on buildings to show they are part of it. It is basically a massive underground mall through all of Downtown Toronto under and through all the buildings.

41.5 million in Canada. Love that you visited Lake Ontario! Toronto is a beautiful, and yes, diverse city. Enjoy!!

Back in the day, the water front area you started in was an old industrial area. Even when SkyDome/Rogers Stadium was built, it was surrounded by many old grungy buildings. The whole area has been transformed into a beautiful urban area with parks and condo towers. Much of the transformation has occurred over the past decade.
The GO Train is the regional commuter train in the Greater Toronto Area.

Toronto used to be called York. During the war of 1812 the Americans burned York to the ground. The Canadians/British then burned down the Whitehouse and other Washington government buildings.

Yes, the flags, labels etc. are a direct response to the U.S. threats.

Canadians are very proud of our diversity. We don't tellpeople to speak english. It is common to hear several other lanuages being spoken when out and about. Most of us are very accepting of different cultures in our country.

Fun fact: Detroit is actually north of Windsor Ontario!

The Beaver Tail was actually started just outside of Ottawa.

Interesting fact: most movies that are set in NYC are actually shot in Toronto.

Canadian here..to help you guys out Quebec City is 418 years old and Toronto is 192 years old. Enjoy your stay and make sure you get the poutine in Quebec..and make sure they serve it with cheese curds. If the cheese doesn’t squeak when you chew it it ain’t Canadian cheese curds…then you’re just eating cheesy fries and gravy…and the lake is LAKE ONTARIO…always has been and always will be…enjoy Canada boys
