2 american guys went through the worst 8hr flight and walked around almost the entire CBD as soon as they landed... I would of needed a 24 hr nap to recover from my back pain first

These guys calling ordinary Australians tourists and the business district where everyone is just going to work “tourist areas” is crazy.

Also normal shopping centres = “fancy malls” apparently. How bad are the malls in the US?

Sydneysider here; I love that you didn't only focus on the glamour-shot stuff, but spent some time just soaking up the vibe of the place, even the mundane bits. We need more of this in these kinds of videos.

Sydney sleeps and wakes early. The streets are dead empty by 10pm, but get up and out by 6am and you'll see people everywhere hitting up the local cafes, getting in some exercise at the parks and beaches, going for a jog, walking the dog, etc.

Remember you don’t need to tip in Australia! Also head down to Barangaroo in Sydney city, it’s new & has a harbour pool!! Get ferry to Manly or Watsons Bay & visit the pretty harbour beaches, I’m guessing you will go to Bondi Beach, Tamarama, Brontë Beach etc, Northern Beaches are gorgeous but best to have a car to go there. Have a great time in Sydney.

The bird perched on the fence in the Botanical Gardens is the famous kookaburra. Yes, the white birds with the yellow crest are Sulphur Crested Cockatoos. The "dinosaur" looking bird is an Ibis.
