I've been watching you for a bit, and wondered why you didn't spring for an arbor press to seat the frets? It's even less traumatic than the trusty hammer and bag of shot, and offers uniform pressure along the entire fret. Adding the fractal fret die to the system ensures that it will work over any radius.

Nice job! Good to see a Rickenbacker that’s not a case queen. When re-fretting my own Ric, I decided to remove the finish. Maybe not original spec, but way better for playability IMO.
