Even the nuances of their reactions to each other, right down to David Lynch looking down at Cher's gestures when she was talking about looking through a magnifying glass at 0:59... masterful editing.

For some reason this is a fitting closure to the life of David Lynch who died today.

People can talk about Lynch being 'strange' until the cows come home. But what a truly, ironically pure and beautiful mind he had. He saw himself as a vessel for creativity, rather than the source of it. It's truly inspiring to listen to him talk about it, especially once you realize that it isn't coming from a place of modesty.
