“The truth is that the only time I'm happy is when I'm doing absolutely nothing.“ - Gardner

My mother family lived in Wilson, NC and knew of Ava Gardner's family. My mom always said the entire family were kind to Black people in the area.

I've always admired Ava Gardner. Not only was she naturally gorgeous, she was tough! 👍🏾

Here's to ava cheers 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 for supporting civil rights movement and  yes she was beautiful

I named my daughter after her, they have the same birthday too 🥰

Mickey Rooney was the original poster child for "Give an ugly guy a chance, he'll think he runs the world."

She was beautiful.
Thanks, Karine ❤

I never usually comment but your videos are AMAZING. The way you articulate yourself keeps me on the edge of my seat! Ty for your dedication. You are 1 of 1 💖.

I read her biography in high school, and I've loved her ever since. I even named my cat after her! One of the most beautiful women ever. 🤩

What a powerful and heartbreaking portrait of Ava Gardner.

I'm from Smithfield NC. We have a museum and she's buried here

Yay! One of my  favorite bedtime rituals,  watching one of your presentations!
Thank you 🤗
All the best from Mexico 🇲🇽 (I'm on vacation).

I’m not sure if she was actually mixed, but she may felt that she could have been and felt a closeness with black people. I think it is deep that she would have such close friendships with black women and that she would even go as far as to say that they were her sisters. This is coming from a southern white women in the 20th century. That’s quite progressive and brave. Not only was Ava beautiful, but she was smart and definitely unique. Great video Karine!

She looks italian/irish. She looks so much like Loren

Gorgeous and complicated lady who became a pretty good actress.  She made her own rules in an industry that could  eat you up.  Not many survive.  Karine, love your tributes.

😂 I never thought of Frank Sinatra as a weirdo but honestly with the shooting pillows to pretend you were self deleting I can agree he is a weirdo!  Eva had a type, deeply disturbed artists with anger and alcohol issues!  I think Eva proves that opposites do not always attract because she seemed to marry herself 3x’s😂

I had a patient from Michigan who was Black and resembled Ava Gardner. She could have passed for her daughter,  hair and facial features are very similar. Ava was a very beautiful woman. I am happy she stood for the civil rights of Black people.

She was beautiful, had morals and stand on her positions, and I love it !

She’s my absolute favorite Capricorn 🥹

"The DEFINITION Of Being WHO You TRULY, AUTHENTICALLY Are...."

Thanks for sharing, Karine!
