This time, we challenged ourselves to make "noodles that don't flow" at a traditional Japanese house studio.

Together with everyone who always takes care of us, we started by selecting and cutting the bamboo.

We considered what kind of bamboo to choose and how to cut it.

We split the bamboo so that it could be used as a bowl, and decorated it with plants and stones found in our daily lives.

When we encountered the wisdom of utilizing the nature around us, the familiar scenery looked a little different, we felt more free, and our sensibilities seemed to be refined.

And then, we all cooked together.

We experimented with different sauces to go with the noodles and used vegetables grown on the hillside behind the house as condiments.

The time we spent working together, hands-on, was a very enjoyable time.

We all enjoyed the preparation, and the noodles we ate in nature were truly exceptional.

We enjoyed them while feeling the sunlight and breeze.

Summer is over in the blink of an eye.
