Flow of Japan is a documentary project by ReDim, exploring the people, craftsmanship, traditions, and everyday life of Japan.
In this film, we follow Konkan Shoten, a Kyoto kinran textile house with more than 270 years of history. From choosing colors from around 1,200 samples to working closely with dyers and weavers, we document the process, knowledge, and relationships behind this traditional craft.
