Hello, this is Mori Hikari!

This time, I'm bringing you a new project, "Hoshi's Tea Room."

In this project, I invite creators active in various fields to "ikikata atelier," a renovated traditional Japanese house that I'm working on, and we'll have a relaxed conversation about what they've been up to lately, their dedication to craftsmanship, their thoughts, and their lifestyles.

Our guest for the memorable first episode is stylist Momo Chiharu.

It had been a while since we last met, so we talked about everything from fashion to travel.

This time, Momo and I talked about things we've recently bought, sharing each other's purchases.

The things we choose naturally reflect our individual tastes and sense of style.

We enjoyed discussing our different perspectives on shopping and what we value when choosing things, while also appreciating each other's differences.

Today, I’m excited to introduce my new series, “Hikari no Cha no ma.”

At “ikikata atelier,” the traditional Japanese house I’ve created, I invite inspiring creators from a variety of fields to talk about what they’ve been up to lately, their creative passions, and their perspectives on life and work—all in a relaxed and intimate setting.

Our very first guest is stylist Chiharu Dodo.

Since it had been a while since we last saw each other, we had so much to catch up on—from fashion to travel, and everything in between.

For this episode, Chiharu and I each brought along something we’ve recently purchased and shared the stories behind our choices.

The things we choose naturally reflect our individual tastes and sensibilities.

“What was it about this that sparked joy?”

We talked about our different perspectives when shopping, what we value when choosing things, and the little details that make us excited—while enjoying the differences in our tastes and ways of seeing the world.
