I fear lost media is a mandatory part of modern girlhood

when two queens come together to maximize their joint slay

There are so few other women with prominent voices in the lost media community. Thanks for showing the world that not only men know what the wayback machine is!

thank you again for having me on it was so fun to help you make this video!! 🫶🫶

OMG I'M SHAKING!! I never thought in a million years I would be mentioned in a video, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I hope this will encourage more people to start looking for the lost animation. Also I hope you don't mind me suggesting (You don't have to take it if you don't want to), but I would love if you could discuss about another lost webkinz fanmedia called "The Summer Kinz", it's a webkinz animated series that was really popular in the early 2010s that's been missing for I think around 10 years. Once again thank you so much, big fan of yours and kyle's videos! Can't wait to see more of both of your content the future! Lost media girlies rise up!

As a vocaloid fan, I'd love for that song to be found! If 2007 is the actual release date for it, that means it has to be one of the earliest works with rin and len!
Also, just a heads up to anyone going on a search for it without prior knowledge, the song was not written by rin and len, but rather by someone else who used the two's vocals in their music.

I didn't see the love puppies video but that's definitely Rin Kagamine's "I like you, I love you" because that song was a huge meme and massively popular, particularly the end part where Rin stutters trying to say "I love you" in Japanese. It was in Flipnote animations during that era, even though that video can't be from flipnote because of the colors. It has 9 million views still, almost 10 mil.

The closest thing i can find that matches the "LPS: Tell" thumbnail description is "LPS: Trust no one" by caseyfilms from 8 years ago. It has what appears to be a pitbull (?) lying in a pool of fake blood. I searched "lps thriller drama" and that's what it pulled up.

I wish people didn't get embarrassed over videos they made when they were younger. I will always remember those fanvideos that I would obsess over for like 2 weeks at a time. Makes me so sad that I'll never watch that Laurmau AMV to Criminal by Britney Spears or that one Naruto AMV to Sk8ter Boy again!! Sure, maybe they weren't amazing but they're so nostalgic to me

About the Webkinz love puppies animation:
The wayback machine capture dates to March 16, 2008 and it says the video was added a month ago. If the song was really sung by Kagamine Rin and/or Len's, their first voicebanks weren't released until December 27th, 2007 (some exceptions here are some demos made as early as December 18th that year), we can safely narrow down the creation/release date of the song to between mid to end December 2007 to roughly mid February 2008.
It's not much, but it could maybe be a help.

pssssst! protip: your local library should have manga available, and may even have a subscription to a major manga publisher!

There was actually a live action tv series of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. It aired on NHK in 1972 and had six episodes. The master tapes were wiped for reuse, so only the sixth episode still exists from an off-air recording. Supposedly, the audio from the other five still exist.

honestly i feel like the vocaloid rin/len one should be p easy to find, assuming its a popular classic song. theres plenty of rin songs that we're cutesy and about love. one i think of is "i love you, i like you", but i'm not sure. can't remember one featuring both off the tip of my tongue, unless it was a cover w them of another popular vocaloid song at the time

AAAAA i vividly remember the tribute to love puppies video!! i was a huge fan of both webkinz and youtube animation as a kid - naturally, the love puppy video was a favorite of mine and i had watched it countless times! the audio recreation does a great job of capturing how the song’s melody sounded.

i don’t know if it would be much help to the search, but i’d like to recount how i remember the video playing out. obviously, i could be misremembering bits so take this with a grain of salt - but i’m fairly confident in my memory of it.

the video begins with a love puppy sitting alone, looking a bit sad. the second love puppy appears, giving the former a kiss on the cheek and earning a flustered reaction. (the screenshot at 17:37 is this part!)

we cut to another scene, with one of the love puppies animated lip syncing tearfully along with the song. (screenshot at 15:33) cut to a shot of the second puppy cheerfully running in the direction of its companion, a flower clasped in its mouth. the tearful love puppy takes notice, immediately perking up— it then turns to a nearby grassy patch, using its mouth to pick a flower of its own. the love puppy begins to race towards the other, with the shot changing back and forth between both puppies a few times.

the puppies reach each other, sitting face to face with their gifts. one has a smile and sparkling eyes, the other appears rather nervous. cut to the two of them leaning in— one a bit more shyly than the other— and sharing a kiss!

it’s a rather adorable video and a super catchy song to boot, i would absolutely love to see either one be found. i’ll be sure to keep an eye on this search!

girl i have SOOOO many LPS tube lost media !!!

1.) "lps bakery" which was quite literally just about a bunch of LPSes ordering food at a bakery, it was quite cute and i remember one of the props the person used was one of those candy containers that look like actual soda cans

2.) a very specific "lps bring me to life" music video set to the evanescence song, where all the LPSes are set up in a funeral-like fashion while the "singer" rises from the coffin to sing the song. i remember it vividly because i remember it was a bunch of LPSes being stood up on white bedsheets and ngl it may have awakened the future emo within me

3.) My HOLY GRAIL of LPStube lost media is, while i don't remember the title, i'm pretty sure the youtuber herself was called "HeavenLPS". it was a drama between a kitten (1074) named Sydney and her dying mother. I remember it vividly because at some point Sydney meets her long lost twin sister, another kitten with a similar model named Vienna, and they bond over their names both being cities in countries starting with Auster- (Australia/Vienna). I'm pretty sure Vienna had a similar model to Sydney, but she was orange rather than yellow/gray/white like Sydney. It drives me nuts that it disappeared so long ago; it was one of my favorites next to anything by LPSlover, LPS Popular + LPS CSI, and ElizaLPS's "Creepy" series.

My 6th grade self who was obsessed with Kodocha and had just gotten her first email address through SanrioTown feels extremely called out by this video

OMG THE COLLAB WE DIDN'T KNOW WE NEEDED BUT DESERVED!!! 💗💗😭

As someone already subbed to Kylie, this collab is quite the welcome surprise! The Webkinz fan animation sounds super adorable and while I didn't have much interest in Winx Club (I was all about Tokyo Mew Mew's English dub at the time), the mermaid special is quite intriguing.

My best guess for the vocaloid song in the love puppies video is I like you, I love you ft Kagamine Rin !
I have a lost media LPS series I have been wanting to watch again for yearssss. It was called LPS: Orphan Killer, and though there is proof of it's existence all of the actual series has been lost to time, I assume deleted by the creator

You just made me realize that the baby blanket I've slept with every night for 21 years is also the epitome of the disney princess theory. snow white, aurora and cinderalla are in colorful blobs in one corner
