2001-2004 those DEI cars were straight DOGS. They were freakin close to winning every single Daytona/Talladega races through those years. Not only that, finished 1-2 for like 8 of them. Lmao just ridiculous!
Budweiser Dale Jr. was such a Privilege to watch Growing up as a Kid. He was The Heart & Soul of NASCAR to me. Seeing that Red #8 was always a thrill. After he Became whatever it was after that.....the spirit & Joy of it all just seemed to die out.
I had to come here and watch this after the announcement of him running the Bud car next year. The last time he raced the Bud car, I was in 9th grade. Now I’m 31.
Growing up, I had a lot of Dale Jr merch. My parents painted my room red, black, and white to match Juniors scheme. I used to ask my dad to remove the plate at the bottom of his 1:64 Bud cars so I could use them in “my races.” I always took care of them. Nowadays, they sit displayed. Can’t wait to see him in the 8 car next year!
A true Earnhardt Jr fan, is 100% content with him not racing anymore! We still get to see him succeed, with his podcast, his times in the announcer's booth, and hearing about his life with his own family! We'd hate to lose him, like we lost Dale!
All u seen back then on those plate tracks were red and blue bud car and napa car screaming to the finish jr and waltrip DEI in general dominated plate tracks I get chills thinking
