Let me know your theories! Hope you all enjoyed this one!

what if anachora is the prison of the unspoken god and the vrakhiri losing their mind is just him consuming their already destroyed souls.

I really hope we get to see coen grow up century by century instead of just skipping to a modern day era. Bring even more lore. This game has been amazing overall in my opinion.

I hope the sequel involves Vlad the Impaler

I love how in this game, Coen asks so many questions of like “what is going on” or “why are you doing this?” or “what is this thing?” and the world just turns around and says “shut up, you’re a kid. I don’t have to explain anything to you.”

I feel that this is the characters way of telling Coen “I had to learn this on my own, and now so do you.” It shows that people are so smaller than they think they are compared to this big grand world, and we need to put in the work like all the greats did before.

The fact that it takes place in our world, with all these mythical creatures and magical things, yet none of them are recalled now or shown as being super common, shows how much we still have to explore and learn on our own in our own world.

Can't wait for the next game. Love your theories btw

My impression was that anachora was corrupted when the aramaspians overreached, leading to a sort of death spiral. Anachora leaks out into the world, feeding sorrow and corruption, and in turn that corruption feeds the corruption of anachora. It's interesting to think of...a sort of chicken or egg enigma. That sort of mystery that's not likely to ever definitively solved makes the world feel bigger and more real in the game.  Thank you for this video.

Kallias couldn't have been down there thousands of years.

He was beaten by Mihia and St Tobias was with him as you find his arm with one of Kalias's fangs in it.

That was about 200 years prior to the games events.

Lot of other interesting stuff in this video though

My theory is that the guy Coen is fighting in the modern day could be one of the first, if not the original vrakhir, since he seems to have control over the vines of anachora, he might be used by the entity trapped in there as a kind of avatar to manifest in our world.

I think also when vrakhiri feed on blood they also somehow feed anachora.

I wonder if all their gods are actually just personifications of different aspects of the same thing, Anachora.

God this game was so incredible, was actually dreading finishing it going around doing anything else but fighting brencis

I freaking love this game!

What if Anachora is the god who will not be named that created vrakhir in the myth and its form is just beyond our compression, and also then the shadowy figure in the post credits scene

I think it’s a type of living hell dimension that spreads corruption separate from the christian hell but related nonetheless.

Kalais is much later than the ancient arimaspians though. He was during the reign of Christianity and thus the events of his demise could not have been more than a few centuries old at best. He is a recent figure in Vrakhiri terms and was just some power hungry Vrakhiri who dived too deep into forbidden knowledge thus I believe the augur council sent Mihai and other dawnwalkers to take him down. Not out of a sense of goodness or righteousness but more like maintaining the masquerade like in World of Darkness/ Vampire universe: Where the supernatural and the terrifying exist but is the privy to very few select mortals because a large organization (the camarilla) enforces and maintains the veil over the eyes of mortals to prevent them from rising up and destroying them. Remember that in all endings Nebru basically says that by the time he is finished "no one will ever remember brencis even existed" . His goal is to erase the short reign of Brencis and his compatriots from history. The Arbitrators are not some knights in shinning armor, but more like the Sherifs in World Of Darkness, powerful Vrakhiri or Dawnwalkers sent to maintain the masquerade over the eyes of mortals. The Augur council is a council of very powerful and ancient Vrakhiri and Dawnwalkers. The Augurs main grip with Brencis was not because he is cruel or whatever, they do not care as long as you maintain their rules. which is to be discreet and not announce yourself to the mortal world.

Would have been nice for literally anyone in game to explain some of this. Lacra pissed me off by how little she was willing to explain.

I wonder if Brencis was trying to bring anachora into our realm and if that’s what happens in the future

Damn it! Now i have to hurry up and finish the game >.<
