One of the greatest Closing tracks of all time 🥁🔥🔥

So interesting to hear Nic talk about and explain his Dads drumming. Then to expertly demonstrate the drum parts is extra special

These drums sound absolutely unreal

Duke’s travels I always thought was one of the more under appreciated Genesis songs . The drum grooves on it are awesome but the song itself is great .

Tbis sounds killer on the album ..massive , savage .. splendid piece of art .

Would like to see Nic collaborate with his half brother Simon. The Sound of Contact album Dimensionaut is a great album that many more people should know about.

Like father like son

Honestly you would think nic wrote all these drum parts he is incredible. Just as good as his dad maybe even better! I'm excited to see him with Mike and the mechanics again in 2027 as they have now said he will be on drums again  😊

He says the drumming wasn’t meant to sound like the recording but Genesis always sounded like the recording. My own view is that Genesis sounded better live they did on the record but that was that probably because they all said that they over produced the records because they recorded each take so many times.

It is notated as a unison but sounds like a ruff on the tom?

Phil was as good as anyone in the 70s and 80s

And um, that's why especially when you're throwing in "Phils"....is why I have a hard time tryin to make it sound good when I play it 😢

😉❤💯👏👍Sorry but Phil Collins is a great drummer and singer and finest clever composer and unic cool man in Genesis and for this great carrere solo too.
🤔Nic Collins or better Simon Collins are exellent drummer just good composer for simon but also for wyat russell not great artists (not great charismatic actor and very good carrere: Kurt Russell). Sorry but in fact is so true for 90/100 of nepotic family.     From: France.

Yeah I always thought it was 2 drummers as well :) Still, it is such a cool rhythm that I continue to mess up every time I play it :)

He can play anything but he doesn’t have the groove of Phil AT ALL.
