Such cool perspectives.. At first I always go like “Cmon this ain’t even that bad” until he points out exactly and elevates those pictures 😂

Please do more “why your photos suck” videos! I found this style of video very informative and entertaining. This is a great idea for content- and has been very helpful! Thanks, for posting.

He’s so confident with critiques that seem so subjective… and then he crops… and suddenly those critiques seem very objective 😅

I would be curious to see a video where two people with a master level skill/ background in photography doing a blind, side by side critique of the same photo and see if they come up with the same things

AHH! Missed this newsletter in my inbox - This would be great as a re-occurring segment every now and then, would love to send in a few shots and hear your thoughts.

This video is one of the best photography videos I have ever viewed!  Please do more like this...

Mannheim jumpscare, oh my god. Imagine my surprise when one of the images that pops up was taken probably within a 15 min walk from my apartment. I literally know the exact road sign in the image.

15:09 - "I'm just gonna call you forelle"
15:19 - "So, ferral said ..."

This video is a gold mine. I see my own attempts and failures in a lot of the examples, and your suggested improvements and techniques are instantly applicable. Thanks!

I have been debating with myself for quite some time if indeed i should have brought up the shadow of the barn … and per extension the trees !  I really appreciate the feedback and as for the leading line, well, you are spot on! It’s totally me to show an example of what inspires me and present a total opposite of that 😊. And I promise you i will work on my leading line!! Big thanks 🙏

New photographer here, amazed by how much a crop cam change a photo, the one of the scooter and surfers ended up amazing just from that

Really, really love this format. It's great to see a diverse spectrum of work and art styles and get some real insight into the way a professional thinks with some solid advice throughout the entire 40 minute runtime. Plus you're the only person I can think of who can deliver constructive criticism without ever sounding rude, which makes these feel so easy to watch. Please keep this going!

These are really excellent feedbacks!

Quality content bro, specially for those of us who feel a bit lost in this photography journey 👏🏽

came across a few random videos before on camera tips, but this is the video that made me sub.  Very helpful for someone like me who's really only starting to get into photography- the tips here will come a long way!  Thanks so much.

I did not submit photos to you, but the way you explained the submitted photos, I learned a lot.
Thanks a million. I really enjoy your email’s.

This was really great to see! So often I see great photos on YouTube and seeing an average photographer's photos and your critique really helped me understand some compositional pieces I miss as well. Thanks to everyone who sent in photos! That's hard to have your work critiqued, but it is very beneficial for you and others!

this is amazing, hope it will be a series!
