The type of human that doesn't try to be funny nor really wants to be funny, but is funny naturally. And I love the accent and the informative video's you make. No pun intended, sounds so cool he says haha 😂 love it

Some years ago I went to an exhibit at the Imperial War Museum in London of Cecil Beaton's wartime photographs. They were predictably outstanding (not for nothing was he the semi-official photographer of the Royal Family). Then, in a glass case, I saw his camera. I was STUNNED. It was the simplest kind of Rolleiflex you could imagine.

To confirm the point about Tip #1, I’ve often found myself in situations where people ask me—after seeing my photos—the first question is usually: what camera do you use? I tell them it’s an old and inexpensive model from 2016 that I bought in 2020 and still use and love: the Olympus OMD EM10 MKII – a truly powerful little guy.

Underrated area of improvement imo: master the art of cropping, even if minuscule cropping, being great at cropping can absolutely mean that your crops are tiny or also just knowing when a photo doesn’t need any cropping at all. But most importantly, cropping forces you to think carefully and critically about your photo, about what elements come together and work and don’t work

Nail the 4 main points using any camera: Story, Composition, Lighting, Focus

This is a fantastic lesson!!! Thank you!

this is really an eye-opener for someone who wants to get it started! i luv ur humor as always! 🥂

Liked how you have set your video up. As you said the lighting on left side of your face
, shadow on right side . Then your back ground darker on your left side the lighter on your right side ... All as im looking at it , cleverly done. Its how you look to frame things than the camera you have. You put the time in and you will see what others dont . Keep it up, with your good solid advice

Thanks for all you do brother!! Respect from 🇨🇦!! Bought my Sony A6700 during black friday to improve my fishing content (crispy portraits, B-roll shots of nature, etc). Excited to learn more this year!

That first point is straight facts. I still use my Sony a6000 and I took some of my favorite photos on a smartphone, the original EOS Digital Rebel, or a  point and shoot when I was getting started. Gear isn't everything and every time I've upgraded or had opportunities to shoot on nicer gear, I feel like I appreciate it more and have an able to maximize the opportunity. I still look back on using that EOS Digital Rebel and think about how much I learned while using that camera. I feel like how slow all the functions were on that camera taught me to be more methodical with each shot and pay attention to all the basics.

I loved these tips and coming from a samsung camera from 2009 I can honestly tell you that gear does not matter at first when you need to learn the basics but then it matters once you're growing as a photographer. Thanks for the video brother!

thanks, for this class!

Living in a region of the world with magnificent scenery would no doubt make you an amazing photographer. It's not the gear, not always the skill either, but what you're photographing.

Thank you for your inspiration.

I've been shooting on a Canon M200 with a pancake 22mm f2 for years which is comparable to a 35mm full frame lens. Of course gear is cool but portability is way more important to me. I stick this in my jacket and go out. A truly EDC setup for me.

I love the way you roll the RRRRRR

I takes pictures every day!😅 Practice makes perfect skills! I see, I feel and takes the pictures. I enjoy it!😅
