All the other praise has been given already. But what I value a lot in your presentation is how intentional you speak. You speak very precisely, with clear pronunciation, easily digestable vocabulary ... and the best: no filler words like "ah" and "hm". And it follows a clear structure, piecing everything together logically. Top notch teacher and presenter!

What a factual, informational, educational, guiding, motivational, inspiring video. Caring exclusively for sharing your experience, insights and tech knowledge with your "readers", tackling brands' hype with respect but sizing upscale gear down to its ultimate relevance. Courageous and clever. No corner stone was left undealt with. Thank you. A great learning tool.

Your vids are getting way more better because your talking realistic truth than just what other YouTubers talk about paid sponsors content crap

I love this! These are things that I learned in 4 years of college when obtaining my B.A. in Fine Art. I enjoy looking and thinking about the elements of composition. I never did anything with my degree in art, but have recently taken up photography and am in love! Thanks for breaking down these important elements for us. Great photos by the way!

Time is an unusual concept. As you get older time slows down. When you’re 2 your age has doubled from 1, but when you are 3 you’ve only added a third and so on. It’s all perception.

watching this video as someone who's been shooting since 2003 because you can always learn something new!

You have become one of the most informative learning channels for me on YouTube. I walk away from your videos with so much that I apply into my own work flow. Always learning so much from you. Thanks man!

If I had to do it all again: Nikon D500 with 300-500mm for wildlife only + a tiny Lumix of some sort with all its wonderful tiny lenses for something portable. I bought into the hype that I'd need a full frame camera to take great photos, and only now after almost 10 years, am I realizing that I can take great photos, even at night, with a $30 Nikon D70 from 15 years ago. I wish I could tell myself that great photography is 50% composition, 45% lighting, and only 5% equipment.

Love this and the video is very educational. Honest en hands-on tips to put to test in real live. Good and beautiful examples from your portfolio. Keep on producing this supporting videos Roman!

I just bought my very first 'proper camera' (Lumix GX 1) as I start my journey into photography and after all the videos and research I have been doing, this is the video I wish I had seen first, incredible insight and valuable information throughout. Thank you for taking the time and effort to make this.

I’m new to the channel as of a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it. I appreciate that you focus on actionable ideas rather than equipment. It’s very hard to come by these days.

I went down the system change rabbit hole way too many times (Sony -> Fuji -> Canon -> Nikon) I was not sure what I wanted to be honest, I was able to afford the ordeal but as you mentioned it is energy draining, but once i picked up and played with the ZF, it broke the potato stereotype, loved the colors, menus everything was snappy and the camera was well built, i stuck to Nikon since, ZF + F3/FM2n for the soul and Z8 for the work, haven't even looked elsewhere since.

Painful lesson but I am finally happy.

This last comment is surely the best advice one can give ! Believe in yourself more than anything else. There isn’t a goal too high to achieve and don’t believe those that will deter you from it.

Amazing video once again Roman. I like this format and I found all this info to be very valuable whether it’s for new photographers or those in need of a friendly reminder as to what’s really important

One of the best and most informative videos about photography in general and Roman's particular style! Very helpful examples, not a minute boring, a very high level presented in the best way. Thanks a lot 👌🏻

15 years since I started taking photography seriously and this just about sums up my journey! 👍👍👍

I’ve learned so much from your videos the past couple of days man thankyou. Genuinely useful information other than subjective garbage written to sell you a preset pack
