Great adventure Ian in amazing light and location. Love the texture of the cliff face and the slow smoothness of the water. Thatvwas fun, thank you.

Beautiful coast line , cant wait to see photos when you go back in better light

That last photo in particular, Ian, is beautiful. And between the lines, you taught about shooting to the conditions, with that first shot where the light just didn't work, the cliffshots when the light was too harsh elsewhere, and that last one, eliminating the sky and working with the available light and motion. You turned challenging conditions into a great shoot. Thanks for taking us along.

I love the shot at around 14 mins, how the frozen waves mirror the surface of curved the rock cliffs!

Thanks for inviting us along for your afternoon. Can't wait for you to return to that location you scouted.
Location Scout looks like a great asset, bookmarked their website.

I also love motion in my images. Really nice pictures you created today Ian 😊

Bel posto e belle foto 👍.

Should you fall, the Gear would survive and shoot tomorrow, Ian the guide would need a least a week before he was able 😂to.
That location with storm like winds, the waves would be amazing 🙌

Went to Pembrokeshire back in July and it's our dream to move there now. Such a beautiful place. One of the best coastlines in the country.

Well, Ian, I don't know whether it's just because our opinions differ, or that you're seeing something in the image I can't see, but to be honest I have to disagree with you about that first photograph. Personally I love it. And I think the light is really nice too! Is it just me? 😂

The rock in the sea (with the hole / crack) at 1:53 looks like it might have potential, if it's accessible!

I agree, Ian. Slightly blurred water to show movement over a mist of water every time for me. No need for a tripod to get this effect with modern camera technology, thus freeing you up to capture the best light as it appears around you.

Thanks for sharing this with me Ian. I loved your photographs. With trees and grass moving in a landscape photograph, a lot of photographers think that is not good. I value your belief that it is good and I agree with you; it shows the weather conditions of wind and movement adds to the photograph. It will give me the motivation to take photographs with movement in them. I have never liked the completely smoothed out water from slow shutter speed and prefer your approach with controlled shutter speeds to show some movement. I will try using the High definition mode on my OM 1 digital camera to see what effects I get with that too in terms of how much movement and separately using a ND filter.
