My idea for a sequel would have been a documentary film crew investigating the mystery of the disappearance of the characters from the first movie.

The way they could not have waterboarded me into getting back to that cave, like i’m sorry, you are the police, you go out there and investigate what happened to my friends, not me, imma stay here with my lawyer… like at that point just put me on trial for quintuple homicide, i don’t even care

I don't accept this movie as canon at all , it's so unnecessary. You're stronger than me for sitting through it!

This might be obvious but, one thing I noticed on this rewatch and not before was how protective Sarah was of Rios. And only her, throughout the movie, ending with sacrificing herself for Rios.

I think this was because she knows Rios has to get home to her daughter and she doesn’t want the daughter to lose her mom like Sarah lost her daughter.

I saw the American ending of the first one and I legit thought it was supposed to mean she never made it out, like the other version. I thought that jump scare meant it was all a hallucination/dream from getting knocked out

Why is Lynch still suspicious of Sarah when she has absolutely been vindicated by the presence of the creatures. Lynch should be apologising to her not handcuffing her.
