Hi, me again. Still watching every Maphra reaction video on the internet. 🤘

Her distortion is a lot like Chesters distortion. You could still fully hear his voice. It's fucking AWESOME.

Babe wake up the greatest vocal reaction coach is reacting to the greatest vocal cover ever!

The amount of control she has on her voice is insane. But aside from her voice, what also strikes me the most is the emotion she conveys with her delivery and the subtle movements that really gets you hooked on an emotional level.

She’s the smoky jazz club singer of metal and I’m all about it.

Sure ... I'll listen to this song for the 5th time today, w Chris breaking it down. 😂

Easily my favorite cover of hers.

Oh man, she has covers of different genres too...the woman can just flat out sing.

"Terrifying and amazing!" Now that's a compliment! XD

Such a technical showcase here. Her fry screams in the verses sit perfectly in that aggressive pocket  and the way she transitions into those pristine clean belts in the pre-chorus is flawless —zero noticeable flip point artifacts. The high-end false cord distortion in the breakdown hits with brutal clarity and zero unwanted nasality, and she absolutely nailed Courtney's signature mid-range grit layering without it turning boxy sounding. 🔥 Another one of her best modern metalcore covers out there—respect 🔥

i also noticed that her shoulders go back and chest out for high notes, then go forward and rounded for lows and most distortions. its awesome, like watching a human with a built in accordion.

She is something very special. There's not a female artist out there that comes close to what she's capable of she will go down as one of the greatest to do this style of music. 100%

15:38 “terrifying and amazing” 🎯

It’s funny how she decided to stay in scream mode for the entire last part, where Courtney goes in and out of her extreme harsh vocals. On the last “all be yours” Courtney goes all out on “all” and “yours” but shifts into her beautiful angelic tone for “be”. I’ve been trying to get this right for over a year now and it’s hard as hell, because you lose some diaphragmatic support on “be” which then makes it super hard to go harsh again for “yours”. But I’ll get there 🙂‍↕️

the fucking "i climbed the alter and i claimed my place as God" part kills me.

Maphra uses her voice as an instrument of pure passion and power. So much emotion yet totally in control. Beautiful.❤🔥🤘

Listening to Maphra is like how the body actually experiences temperature, not the actual temperature but the CHANGE in temperature on the microscale is what we sense.

I cant wait til she produces 1 full album of her own material. She is beyond anything Ive ever heard. Incredible doesnt even describe her range tone and vocal capacity to do the drops etc shes doing.

We're back baby ! The Maphrodisiacs show up in numbers
