Faouzia dropped a comment on Maphra's video within 2 hours of its release and said how it brought tears to her eyes. When you can make the original artist cry with a cover, you know it's something truly special.

I'm a grown ass man and I am not afraid to admit that I cried throughout the whole song. Maphra is special. 😪

ive lost count of how many times ive watched her sing this, that ending gets me every time!

Maphra makes me cry EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Doesn't matter how many times I've listened to one of her covers. She just grabs you by the emotions. She apparently also did that to Faouzia as well. Faouzia commented on Maphra's cover, saying "tears in my eyes".

She made me cry too. You can’t fake the emotions that were on her face at the end of the song.

Maphra can sing from a place most people try to avoid. Her ability to balance grief and strength in the same breath is awe inspiring.

She’s amazing. Her ability to make us feel her emotions is a rare gift that not many singers have. She feels this song, sometime in her life she was hurt and she brings those emotions into her cover of this song. While Faouzia has said, for her, it’s about her talking to herself and not about an outside relationship, it feels like Maphra’s version seems to come from pain that was inflicted by another.

I get chills every time and I tear up at the end after she sings “Let me go” with that half crying, extremely sad tone. It’s so powerful…..

I’m not crying… you’re crying.
The way she brings you in, takes you on an emotional journey and then leaves you speechless is a testament to her artistry.
Masterful. Authentic. Powerful. Human. Raw. Artistry.

That last "Baby" ... that plea... right in the heart

7:17 is where I can’t hold back the tears any longer 💔

YES. You are the first reactor that I have seen pick up on the head shake at the end. It shows how deep she is able to go into the emotion. And at the same time she keeps control of her voice. This is soooooo impressive.

Also I recently looked at her older Instagram posts. She actually talks in the description of some songs, that she suffered from depression for a long time.

big Sis is comin 🤣 this had me rollin in this beautiful emotional moment. ❤‍🩹❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍

That was the most beautiful performance that I have ever seen or heard. She truly felt that. It left me broken, beautifully broken hopefully in a cathartic way. Maphra is absolutely awesome. So very special 🖤❤️💔

When I heard maphra for the first time, on the first sentence I realise that something special was happening. We need to support and protect her for ourselves.

"Einzigartig" fits it perfect ❤

I swear I get teary eyed EVERY TIME!

MAPHRA magic always finds the darkness in all of us and gives it a big hug then gives it back to us healed and it's absolutely amazing. Thank you for this.

Truly phenomenal vocals. 👏👏👏👏

It's no coincidence that MAPHRA chose this masterpiece by Faouzia, proving once again her incredible talent. Deservedly so, I consider these two singers to be among the absolute best voices of the latest generation                    🌺

I was immediately obsessed with this cover when I heard it. It breaks me every time. And I've watched so many of these breakdown videos and this is the first where the person analyzing this shows the same emotion I have while hearing it.

Thank you for your humanity. And thank you for talking about the difficult types of relationships that can cause these feelings.

So much love to you 🩷
