Maphra released this Cover the day after Bad Omens released the original. She recorded this the night of the Original release from Bad Omens.

"If you think the dopest voices have never sounded stupid before, you've got it wrong"

I FUCKING love this Andy. It's so true! I text my neighbour often with a message like "Hey, I'm just practicing some singing stuff, it might sound like there is an animal dying but it's all good, just exploring some new techniques" and then I'll spend 30 minutes making noises that should summon the police, but out of those noises, I learn stuff about my voice that I can then take forward. Based comment right there. Wonderful!

Andy MUST do his own analysis on doomed, it's gonna be so rich

She does make you feel it...just the facial expressions she puts in while singing this.  You can tell she is feeling it herself.

Love videos with Andy. Wish he would do stuff like this on his own channel

its so nice to see 2 guys who know what the hell they are talking about 😉

20:21 the commentary about the unrealistic expectations is spot on man. when individuals seem to be trying to deflate excitement by informing us that editing exists is so silly. im so pumped about Maphra and it has nothing to do with me thinking shes done all these raw without any editing, without pre-recorded audio, and/or with one take.

who true abilities are showing in this work of art. and it is truly a masterpiece. here for it.

I love the way you two approach vocals and bring different perspectives to the analysis.

Damn. It speaks volumes that two professionals can dedicate almost a half hour to Maphra's less than four minute video! 😮❤ Even the amount of time it took to go through a maybe thirty second section provides a lot of context to just how many techniques and nuisances she sprinkles into her covers. Loved the reaction to this amazing artist and I want more!!! Please, please keep going down the Maphra rabbit hole with us!!! Recommend Impose next! #MaphraSquad

This Specter cover is straight 🔥 The way she switches from those haunting, emotional cleans to the raw, powerful screams hits so hard. She took Bad Omens' already killer track and cranked the emotion to another level. Passion poured into every line... this cover has me replaying it nonstop.

YES

I love her version u can hear the pain in her voice

Loved this reaction! Andy is so good at demonstrating Maphra's techniques. He should do his own videos of Maphra too. #MaphraSquad

Another Andy analysis of Maphra!

4:06 as someone who can’t sing, it always puts a huge smile on my face watching the professionals gets excited lol

I love your enthusiasm guys ! 😂🫡🥳

#maphrasquad assemble!
I appreciate this reaction so much! Love hearing you all break it down and help us understand what is going on vocally. Also I appreciate you calling out how normal it is to do a lil tuning or effects and how she is not claiming her videos are one takes. Too many witch hunters out there uninformed of how the industry is trying to neg.❤

Lets fkn gooooo! #MaphraSquad
The goddess is here!
