Ben 10 always felt more like a comic than an anime

The more i look back at the shows I grew up watching, its like I was predestined to watch anime

Meanwhile My Adventures with Superman just went full Dragon Ball and they're not even Hiding it 😂

I'm not surprised if my Adventures with Green Lantern with Jessica Cruz will be full of Sailor Moon inspiration while Kyle will be Gundams

Zuko is not your Antagonist turned rival he is just your Antagonist turned ally

This video reminds me of a post that I read saying that one of the reasons why battle shonens became so popular in America was due to their similarities to action cartoons.

Ah no Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja, it was basically the swan song of this genre despite looking like Invader Zim.

I seeing comments say Ben 10 is magical girl.

While there is W.I.T.C.H. Show and Winx club.

4:07 Ben 10 is more Tokusatsu than magical girl. Way Big is clearly a Homage to Ultraman.

There is a magical girl comic I have, called Flavor Girls made created by a French man who live in Japan.

I honestly love how much anime influenced the animated shows I watched, truly impressive how the creators themselves were once fans of the genre and found ways to blend it into their works!!!

I wish we got more

We just call those story cartoons or battle cartoons in the community. Amphibia is a great example of this. Wakfu too, but that show is actually from the 2000s like Ben 10.

I think its worth considering the company behind Ben 10 and Generator Rex had a few creative minds that worked primarily in DC and Marvel comic books

The Ninjago mention in the end made me so happy 😁

Whenever an American cartoon had its characters have a full body like a real person that’s the

one thing I knew I was confused if it was an anime or not.
