And thus the fandom for Ultimate Echo-echo reached it's peak.

If it weren't for Ultimate Kevin, Ultimate Aggregor would have absorbed the power of Baby Alien X. After absorbing it, he would have killed Ben Tennyson and Gwen, and then destroyed the universe. Ultimate Kevin saved Ben Tennyson and Gwen's lives, and in the process, saved the universe.

Fun fact: Cooper in this arc is voiced by Chris Pratt

Ben and Grandpa Max's phone call is some of the best written dialogue in the whole series

Still can’t believe the Reboot made of Fun of this arc in that one scene. 🙂‍↔️
Sure it can be a bit dramatic but it’s better storytelling than anything the Reboot did. 💚

Through Aggregor to Ultimate Kevin it was a one big arc felt to me when I was young and I liked Ben's character in this arc as he was going through a middle portion from being a jerk from the S3 of AF to understanding his responsibilities one's again.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I think that Ben's actions were justified when you look at everything he went through.

1st his secret identity was revealed to the world and therefore destroying his privacy. The entire world knows where he lives and what he looks like, never giving him a chance to catch a break.

2nd during the Aggregor arc, he constantly lost and the people he tried to save technically died because of him. This, imo, led him to the mindset of "kill 1, save 100"

3rd he knows better than anyone what Kevin is capable of doing if he absorbs more power. And he knew that reasoning was impossible with Kevin.

The writing in this arc had issues, the show really needed to properly convey just how dangerous Kevin was as well as try a few failed attempts to cure him before Ben reached the conclusion to kill him.

Not surprising to see how determined Ben was to kill Kevin, even if he became his friend after they were enemies when they were kids. When Ben trusted Kevin the day they met, it was one of, if not the worst mistake of Ben's life. Giving Kevin another chance after that wasn't easy for Ben, even if it eventually paid off until he absorbed the Ultimatrix. That was what Ben dreaded, not because he knew it was possible, but because of history repeating itself from when he first met Kevin. It's clear throughout this saga that he's frustrated that the choices he made wound up with the same result as before. Eliminating Kevin would ensure he won't ever make that mistake again. This was personal for Ben more than people realize.

2:13 Actually Kevin saved the universe by sacrificing his sanity. This really should be brought up more.

In Ben's defense he's seen Kevin at his absolute worse. Kevin tried to kill him and Gwen on multiple occasions.

He probably just didn't want to deal with it again.

Ben pulled out way big for gwen then ultimately humangasaur and  echo echo for kevin. WHERE WAS THIS TENACITY AGAINST AGGREGOR

7:14 BRO his eyes in the shadows here looks SO Cool!

To be honest, it would be interesting that after the events of "Ultimate Kevin" arc, the relationship of Ben with Gwen and Kevin ended strained, for his cold pragmatism for tried to kill Kevin.

Particulary Gwen, as she would be resented from her cousin for tried kill her boyfriend, making that she become slightly cold to interact with Ben, adding be notably less tolerant with him. While Ben would be harboring guilt for his previous pragmatism to try kill Kevin.

And Ben will patch this strained relationship for the events of "Ultimate Sacrifice" episode, in that the prospect that Ben will die to release the Sentient aliens of Ultimatrix, will makes that Gwen and Kevin become very worried and scared from lose Ben, making them buries their resentment for good, to values her cousin and his best friend.

I think this, because i felt that the fact that Ben was cool with Kevin and Gwen, just after a few minutes from that Ben considered kill Kevin as Ultimate Echo Echo, look like an oversight or bad writting, as this facts should cause some strain between them, and not that this was only a tuesday for them.

Not fully relevant to the video but I still love how young Ben fully trusted Kevin with the power of the omnitrix. Of course he's obviously working with Ben and Gwen now so he's at least a little trustworthy but after realizing the danger of the situation they're in, it's not even a question. Kevin was at his most powerful in his amalgam form and this is an End of the Universe kind of situation, he needs to do something now

How could you miss the most important part of the episode? The part where Kevin and Ben confirmed that Ben was indeed holding back on Kevin.

4:18 where do you think mutated Kevin took the car? Not like he was driving it 😂

8:25 Kevin probably would've saved him for last after he was done with absorbing spree.

Yes. I feel people missed the point that Gwen AND Ben were right which is why Kevin gets saved after they work together.

My only problem was not including Kevin's Mom
