The US is so lucky that every time they want to spread democracy they find oil

I have never seen a guy as chill as Glenn. He never cuts anyone off, just listens. Kind of something barely anyone has these days.

The notion of murderous wars "to promote democracy" is such a ridiculous lie its amazing that anyone actually believed that that was the goal.

Oh for Christ sakes! When and where has USA ever “ promoted democracy”????? Certainly not in Latin America.there USA “promoted” chaos that would benefit USA. Just like Trump has done now in Venezuela. The only difference is that Trump is crude, does not  bother disguising it, and tells it like it is: ransacking….and he’s very proud of himself on that. Robbing another nation of its natural resources and take the profit away from locals. “ Promoting Democracy”, my foot.

Liberalism is gangster capitalism in disguise.  Liberal Democracy is an oxymoron.  Democracy is a direct threat to power.  Not allowed in the USA, or anywhere else.

It has nothing to do with democracy, this is about control and destruction of a countries. Is easy to control the country in crisis and take all resources for free.

Victoria Nuland had said on the occasion "F*ck the EU!"

We are back to good old colonial days loot and genocide! The mask is off!

Trump is in the Epstien Class, and literally now incapable of any logic or rationale such that he and his cohort are all bought by the Zionist lobby. The people are waking up and are beginning to challenge the real prospect of Zionism and it's desire for Armageddon 😢

Western monsters did not help china to become super economic power. They only wanted to exploit more from cheap Chinese labour and as xxresilt they firied hundred millions of western sherp bybmoving most industrial manufacturing from G7 to china in order to suck trillions more that theh could not suckbfrom western herds but what happened afterca dew decades of exploiting chinese labour, china became much stronger than even G7 nations economically

The US, a non-democratic country itself, democratising the world. Laughable.

Short reminder that the only nation on Earth that ever used nuclear weapons in earnest was the USA.

Always a great pleasure watching Professor Mearsheimer and Prof. Diesen

My head is cracking open trying to keep up with everything

Europe and America lost the most powerful weapon, which is humanity propoganda. They are exposed, and the people in the world don't trust them anymore.

Mearsheimers experience and educated perspective are gold. Thanks Glenn for allowing him to speak.

The plan was not to democratise the Middle East.  Zionists in the US took advantage of  9/11 to destroy Israel enemies in the Middle East in pursuit of the greater Israel project.  The biggest enemy of Israel was and is the Islamic government in Iran. So, they started with surrounding Iran with the US bases in Afganistan , Iraq , and the Persian Gulf monarchs.  The plan for Iran was to overthrow the Iranian government with a combination of long and painful sanctions followed by a final blow.  They miscalculated the Persian resolute.

Thank you Glenn & John. It is a joy to hear you both talk & debate. We in the West are so blind to the inability of us to see that we can see no alternative to our own system.

Two intelligent people discussing geopolitics. What a strange and unusual concept these days!  Thank you🙏

Thannk you, Glenn. Prof Mearsheimer's observation that current western elites don't understand international relations is spot on the money. And not just the elites.
